"Was walking to check out a store near by, when I could not ignore that great grilled smell. I stopped by and looked at the menu. On my way back I grabbed a sandwich to go and loved it, it a chicken shawarma, it was tasty, moist and just rich in flavor. And came back a week later to eat my father, the tastes were the same, the service was casual, we were served a delightful mint tea to accompanied our lunch. It was really good. I just gave 4 as the service was just casual and not very attentive, which actually is understandable for a place like that. I will go back!"

Business partners and I thought a quick lunch. The owners could not have been more friendly. Especially the lamb and chicken dishes we tried were some of the best things I had eaten in Switzerland during my week. Not nice, but clean and excellent for the area. Very recommended.

If I could have given it a star I would have done so, but the system doesn't allow us to! FOOD POISONING!!! Never go and spend your money there stupidly and on top of that it's horrible...soggy sandwiches and bland burnt chicken..!! Staff who understand nothing and speak almost no French!!!

The place is very hospitable and welcoming. The customer service is top-notch, as you get seated and are offered complimentary tea, even if you are getting a take-out. The staff is attentive and the place overall is very clean. Also, the shawarmas are delicious and very affordable on Geneva standards; currently it's 8CHF for a mixed one. On some random occasions I also got complimentary desserts, so all in all every visit there was absolutely great!

It is very difficult to find inexpensive places to eat in Geneva. The search gets complicated if you also want vegetarian food. Baraka meets both requirements. I ate a vegetarian plate for 17 francs that was delicious. I returned the next day for their felafel dish which cost 15 francs. This last one was ok, but not as tasty. This restaurant is located in the red light district. You get to see girls everywhere, but they won't bother you. Geneva is a very safe place.

(real) • Friendly staff • Quick service • You accept credit card • The best price/quality/food/quality ever in Geneva. • Large portions (I recommend Shawarma and Baguette) • It is near Lake Geneva (15-20 minutes walk), safe road or you can tram/bus from downtown (5-7 minutes) • Probably the best Shawarma or Baguette in Geneva (I have visited many places with similar food, this is by far the best) • The place really closes late after midnight • you can order away I recommend this place really!!!!
