"Despite booking the Christmas dinner months in advance and calling the hotel to inquire about vegan options, the experience was a disaster. I requested brown bread instead of white for the hummus and flatbread starter, which was accommodated. However, the waitresses were confused about the orders, resulting in a meager portion size with lettuce, a small amount of hummus, and a few pieces of flatbread. The main course, consisting of nut roast and roast potatoes, was served late after other meals had arrived. I was disappointed to see shared bowls of potatoes on the table, as I prefer not to eat vegetables that have been placed on meat plates. There was a lack of separate vegetables, vegan gravy, and the dessert, dry chocolate cake, was unsatisfactory. Despite paying over £24 per person, I felt like I was ripped off. When I raised my concerns with the chef, a former server at Morrison's cafe, he claimed he was not informed of my dietary restrictions."

We had a pleasant one-night stay to be closer to the Royal Welsh Winter Fair and the breakfast was excellent. I was disappointed though that there was a cannbis smell in some of the corridors that we went through on the way to our room, which I didn't expect in a fairly well-appointed hotel. Walkability: Very close to all amenities in the town on foot. Rooms: 5

Don’t be fooled by the pictures as the greeting by women on aim desk was miserable and rude. Zero customer service plus the breakfast was terrible and greasy. Was accused of smearing food on walls and asked to front payment yet when asked for detials or evidence to support hotel claims was simply told there wasn’t any but what maid reported. Made to feel like had done wrong and had reserved a room but out of principle paid to stay else where. Bed bugs in rooms and dirty shower with stains on mattress. Considering the hospitality industry are supposed to be on the guest side in this case felt highly discriminated against and would never go back.
