"Auf der Suche nach einem Restaurant, in dem ich zu zweit meinen runden Geburtstag begehen konnte, stieß ich auf den Taucher. Vor zwei Jahren hätte ich noch andere Top-Restaurants auf der Liste gehabt, aber in der Zwischenzeit hat sich auf Norderney kulinarisch einiges verändert. Es liegt nicht an der Promenade und wirkt zunächst eher etwas unscheinbar. Aber dann… Sehr geschmackvolle Einrichtung, sehr aufmerksame aber diskrete Mitarbeiter und ein unfassbar leckeres Essen! Wow! Ich bin wirklich rundum begeistert! Wir haben in den letzten Jahren viele Restaurants z. T. auch mehrfach besucht, aber der Taucher ist grad ein absolutes Highlight! Weiter so!"

"we had the winter cod and the congratulated spinat. both dishes were arranged and very delicious. the apfelstrudel and the pistazieneis were a highlight for everyone who likes wintery aromen. the service kept pleasant in the background and still was always at the place when something was needed. all in all a very beautiful evening."

"caffe friedrich is one of our standard restaurants at our norderney visit and we have never been disappointed. the family business is very warm and dedicated and the service is always courteous and friendly. as you can not reserve up to a table with more than 8 people in the friedrich, you should always bring a little time to something free, but this time spans the service at the bar always charming and friendly and even if it takes more than 15-20 minutes the time passes very fast and relaxed. the main dishes - meanwhile also strengthened burger- but also fish and meat have been freshly prepared and have never been a disappointment. the highlights are besides the very good wine card but above all the cakes - always made fresh in the morning and the - added - few desserts. apple crumble and chocolate soufflé are one must. And since you can have breakfast very well in the morning, you can easily spend half a day there, especially since you can watch the driving on the friedrich road well from the aussentic. So, whether in the morning or in the evening, we can only recommend the friedrich at a norderney and as long as nothing changes in kitchen and team, we will continue to go regularly!"

"in every vacation on norderney we have seen the snakes before the restaurant so far to get a table. Today, we had the supposed happiness to get a place.A creepy nice and accommodating service was promising. but the eating was undercut: salmon with tomato and ricotta was a dry piece of fish buried under a cheese tomato pamp. at piccata milanese was the meat ok, the tomato sauce tasted like a sauce from the glass and very salty. the salate was an eggplant salad, dressed with a finished salat sauce. all in all very disappointing: high prices and a kitchen that is as far away from fresh and Mediterranean pfiff as the sun from the moon. we do not come back, as price performance is not in any proportion. there are significantly better restaurants on norderney, for which one would be worth it."

"after dining room, seabed, cornelius and marienhöhe today the short farewell dinner in de Leckerbeck.Leider did not preorder a table - luckily, we have a table for two for an hour. after us several interested were rejected. Appetizer Tomato-Orangen-Soup. Delicious but orange? afterwards the legendary thick beans with cashiers, onions and bratkartoffeln as well as snirtjebra with pumpkin and salt potatoes. both really honest home cooking and super tasty and ample. as there were plenty of other dishes on the map we will continue to test on the next island visit already, very nice crew!"
