Exenberger - Menu

Nice pub situated in Sachsenhausen. Great service. I had excellent schnitzel with green sauce that was excellent! Only missing large draft beer there.

We ate very tasty traditional food and drinks recommended by the waiter. He let us try a drink before choosing it. The quality of the food was very good.

The only meal i really enjoyed after many lunches at this little restaurant is the Schnitzel mit grünen sösse. The other dishes are so-so. Perhaps it is Frankfurt food that I am just not digging...

It´s like eating at your mother´s! The food is great as well as the service, traditional food very well served. Go for the schnitzel, don´t doubt it! Salads were good too. They serve very fast and you can make a quick lunch (or not).

...to try it. The restaurant is located in an old factory building reconverted to commercial unit mainly dedicated to car outlets, not easy to find with the taxi but it worth a try. The place is casual and warm, price/quality is good, I had a...couple of beers with a thin pizza style starter, a salmon and a dessert for about €, considering you are in Frankfurt is a good deal. Staff is friendly and helpful.

I really like the Exenberger in Frankfurt Sachsenhausen. In general, I don't like the traditional apple wine restaurants in Frankfurt. I stopped by this restaurant because it had a very different vibe from the other places nearby. It's on a street of apple wine restaurants that are busy and loud and full of large groups. However, this place was clean, bright and quiet, and seemed...popular with couples and small groups. They still served the standard Frankfurt fare, including two vegetarian options (one potato dish and one salad). An English menu is available. The food came super-fast and felt very homemade and fresh. Plus, it was very affordably priced. I would definitely go back if I was a meat-eater because I would want to sample more of their food, but as a vegetarian one visit was enough for me. View menu
