"After a long trip on holiday we really have to go to the commercially offered Smoortaal or what else is offered here in the middle of the Sae. Sea is called here every lake, which has about 5km area and is today in magnificent sun. just before 5 p.m. 4:30 p.m. – the terrace is almost completely equipped with guests who can be pampered by the coffee and cake offer, we find a free table at the edge of the free places. we are kindly greeted by a young service in the Dirndl, who immediately restores and arranges the heavy parasol. Unfortunately there are only 17:30 hot kitchens, sometimes even 17:15 or 17:00 if the kitchen likes, but today would be fully reserved and the kitchen has much to prepare. Well, we have great thirst and order drinks and coffees that are quickly brought. the service still brings us the extensive and informative map. the local speciality to explain the “Smoortaal” the history of the house. a nice offer in a cheap setting for a departure is about fish and meat preparations in Ammerland.
