"This restaurant is located near Place de la République. Have been a few times before and this review is an update. Unfortunately, the food has slipped quite a bit since the last time I went. The Singapore noodles (Vermicelle Singapour)(€8) were clumpy (stuck to the wok) and not very good.The fried eggplant stuffed with shrimp in a black bean sauce (aubergines farcies)(€13) were soggy and greasy. The sautéed broccoli with garlic (€5.50) consisted of broccoli broken into very small florets and the portion was tiny. The fried squid with salt and pepper (calamars sel poivres)(€8.50) was ok.Dinner for two with beer, tax and tip was about €45. Not expensive but not great food this time around. Will not be going back any time soon."

Un super petit restaurant discret et simple avec une très bonne cuisine.Les plats sont très bons et frais, le poulet à la citronnelle est un délice !

La cuisine à la carte est excellente. Le rapport qualité/prix est optimal. C'est une affaire familiale où il fait bon déjeuner ou dîner. L'endroit n'est pas grand mais très sympa.

Resto typique hong-kongais, n'y allez pas pour le confort ni pour la déco. Par contre, les plats exceptionnels et pas chers.Mention spéciale pour leur "tendance de crevettes" et leurs "calamars sel et poivre".

Mon restaurant préféré dans le quartier. J habite à côté et pourrais y manger tous les jours. Frais et raffiné tout est cuisiné sur le moment. Le potage pékinois, les vermicelles Singapour et le poulet à la citronnelle sont mes plats préférés !

Même si le restaurant ressemble à un boui boui de plus dans le triangle belleville-répu-voltaire, détrompez vous et poussez la porte de chez Fong Lai.Les propriétaires et leurs enfants sont adorables, tout y est authentique.Un grand bravo pour les nouilles sautées au boeuf sauté et les raviolis pékinois qui sont juste à tomber ! Ce restaurant est ma cantine depuis maintenant 5 ans! Tout est délicieux, savoureux et copieux! Les nems croustillent, les vermicelles Singapour sont à tomber à la renverse et le poulet au citron juste une merveille. Tout est super frais, le service rapide et le chef est incroyablement pro et gentil....Allez y les yeux fermés!!!!!

J'y mange depuis 10 ans une cuisine authentique,délicieuse, préparée par un vrai chef et sa famille.Sympathique et généreux ce chef dirige un petit restaurant traiteur au décors simple et sans chichi mais les plats qu'il prépare ferait pâlir certain restaurant à la mode, tout est préparé à partir de très bons produits et la cuisine est ouverte sur cette petite salle ou l'on déjeune ou dîne en entendant chanter les plats. Crevettes,travers de porc,canard ou poulets du chef .... tout est bon,épicé et cuits parfaitement . Si vous aimez le luxe et la nourriture compliquée,restez chez vous, ici on vient pour manger!
