"While living quite close to this restaurant, I had been there on one occasion. I was pleased to have rediscovered this place: quiet, pleasant, with a nice terrace, the staff is friendly and the food was up to expectations, the spending really low. Both my wife and I opted for a unique dish based on polenta, the local specialty. Three different types of polenta are served, which avoids making the dish monotonous. I chose as dressing the four cheeses, my wife the tapelucco. In both cases, the quality was really good. I recommend the place for a lunch or dinner if you are in the area. I think I'm gonna go back there without letting the years go through again."

They don't let dogs in. After the steps to climb it turns out that the 4 legs are not allowed. Too bad. Lost and local empty customers

Great polenta, especially served with 3 different types of flour and the dressing to garnish. Excellent service, with very courteous and attentive waiter. Thank you!

I've been there 3 times in this restaurant within months, and every time it never lets me down. Great choice from appetizers to seconds and with some out menus. I will definitely return to try other dishes.

We stopped by chance, being summer we excluded the course of polenta, although the menu offered many. Very appreciated risotto and tagliatelle, while crespelle have disappointed who has chosen them. The staff very kind and capable, the nice and welcoming environment and the very modest price. recommended

With friends we tried this nice local in Borgosesia Island that has in the evening an almost unique feature to propose the menu of the day (10.40€ drinks excluded) as well to dinner! Good taglatelle with chives, nuone scaloppines with 3 varieties of contours....Personal friendly. Precise service. Recommended!

Sunday, December 8th... at 13...local TOTALMENTE VUOTO...no one person is just us. We ask to be able to eat, we are 3 people and a nana can. They tell us we'd be alone and tell us they don't accept dogs and ask us why we can't leave him in the car! Shame! You lost customers and money. Especially on a Sunday party where you don't even have a blanket! View menu

In search of a good polenta we come across this restaurant. We choose the classic 4 cheese polenta and the most sought after with pheasant cream. 3 types of polenta are served which in the same way enhance the taste of the chosen seasonings. The kindness of the dishes and the courtesy of the staff will make sure we will return to visit this restaurant discovered by chance.

Today we stayed at lunch from Fraliba: 1- fried mushrooms already fried and heated....molli and indigestible 2- the polenta even if made in 3 different mixtures was already made and then put in molds and heated and we took it in different ways but the worst one was that with the rabbit that obviously was “scapped” because there was really little 3- a glass and 2 dirty cutlery...

"Sometimes you find hidden pearls and when you find them without having looked for them, the satisfaction is even greater. This is what happened to me and Watson in the latest food and wine survey carried out in Borgosesia. The Croce Bianca restaurant was suggested to us by people in the food and wine sector as a historic place in this town in Valsesia in the province of Vercelli. We therefore booked in advance knowing that the rooms or rather the single room of the Croce Bianca had a limited capacity (a maximum of 60 people could be accommodated . As usual we arrive around 7.30pm, but the room has been welcoming people for half an hour before. We are received by the young staff (a girl and a boy , very courteous and efficient. The room, with barrel vaults, is warm and welcoming; the traditional tables are covered with synthetic tablecloths, but pleasant to the touch and in any case in good taste to which paper napkins are combined, but with an unexpected elegance. We are quickly given menus and a wine list to which a list of off-menu dishes is added. The latter includes those possible dishes with the freshest raw materials available only occasionally. Here that among these dishes there is tripe which by its nature must be of the day. A nice feature of the menu is that some dishes are present in 2 sizes, small and large, so you can best satisfy your appetite. Watson and I orient ourselves on the à la carte menu where we both choose as a starter a small dish (which isn't so small! of veal with tuna sauce, as a first course we choose risotto with toma cheese for me and ravioli for Watson while we both orient ourselves on the second course on a slice of sirloin with reduction accompanied by baked potatoes; we conclude with a sorbat (as always, alas, it's not sorbet, but a spoonful of ice cream with lemon and sage as well as the closing coffee. We accompany dinner with a bottle of Mesolone (based on Croatina from the Barni company and a bottle of mineral water. At the end of the dinner we spend €2,113. Everything is delicious and very fresh: the veal with tuna sauce and the sliced meat melt in your mouth; the sorbet is sublime and the cooking is quick. The bathrooms are also very tidy. Only the noise at the end of the evening is a bit annoying, but this was only due to the other diners. In conclusion, a place not to be missed, even for takeaway."
