"Words fail to describe how good this place is! Their Guiness is sheer perfection I don't know what they do to it but its 10/10 as good or even better than I've had in Ireland If you don't live near DON'T have the Guiness here as nothing else will ever compare! The Service all the staff soo friendly and helpful 10/10 The food The Cabbage, Ham , Potato and Parlsey Sauce Man Sooo Good as is everything on the Menu And just when you think things can't get better, try the Sunday Carvery it tastes homemade, 1000 better than a Toby Carvery even the Carrots are out of this world! Easily one of the best Pubs I've been to Can't be faulted, well maybe the crowds that go there on Sundays and when events are on! Hardly the Pubs fault for being so popular!"

Horrible pub and management!! Bad beer (terrible Guinness), overcooked food and unfriendly people, avoid at all costs! Were TWO fights in the pub when we were there!

A wonderful lunch with friends, everything excellent… food, service and venue. There were four of us, we each had something different from the menu each of which was delicious.

We visited on a Sunday afternoon and had drinks and the Carvery. Fantastic food. Great choice of meat and the trimmings. £14 for an oval plate filled to the edges. Would certainly recommend this pub for a Sunday dinner.

I accompanied another group to Ganleys today for a carvery meal, dessert plus teas coffees. Once again, standards were very high, food delicious, great value and staff brilliant. Thanks to all for the 5 star experience. View menu

We have coming in Ganleys for over 10 years nowz It was our favourite local for the whole family! Unfortunately under the new Management the food and customer cervice was absolutely disgrace! We felt so sad and disappointed! The owner needs to step up ASAP!

I booked a group of 25 in for a meal (early St. Patrick's celebration), Patrick the manager, the chef and all of the other staff were just brilliant. The food was outstanding and great value too. Thanks to all for a wonderful afternoon. All looking forward to our next event there.

Please check your drinks as they may very well be out of date, when we pointed this out to the manager, he got on the defensive and accused us of trying to start trouble, then went as far as refusing to serve us. The manager is extremely rude and I know for a fact that I’m not the only person to think this, customers are leaving this place in there droves. Avoid if you want good customer service. View menu

The manager with the beard who hails from Cabra is extremely abrasive, rude, surly and aggressive. The owner is an Angel. Lovely door staff. Some bartenders fantastic, others very green but nice. Food is hit and miss, but it was St Patrick’s day. Entertainment good by UK standards or mediocre by Irish standards. This is an Irish pub. Experience would have been much better if the ‘manager’ wasn’t there. Enjoyed the drinks Tayto crisps

Went here on Sunday afternoon to watch a football match. There were lots of people but despite that we were able to get a table. The service was great and the staff are really friendly. The Carvery food looked delicious and although I enquired about it, I didn’t eat because we were not hungry. Food prices seemed quite reasonable. This place is located a few mins walk from Morden station and I will certainly visit again and next time will try the food.

"I visited my elderly Mum today, she suggested going to the Derby Arms for a roast dinner as she'd eaten there recently with my sister. However they were fully booked, so I looked online and found Galu. The reviews were great and my Mum has only ever heard good things from friends and neighbours. So I called and booked for 12:45 Sunday 21st Jan 2024. We were both pleasantly surprised to see roast dinners on the menu ... Mum order lamb and I ordered beef part of their set menu. When the dinners arrived, you could see straight away that the lamb was Very Fatty (not even crispy) when my my tried eating it, it was both tough and chewy! As for the beef, this was cooked ok and edible, although I asked for the beef to be medium, but it was more well done. The waiter came over to ask if the meal was ok, I highlighted how the lamb was... the manager then came over and offered my Mum a slice of beef to compensate, bearing in mind she ordered lamb. Mum subsequently found that some of her roast potatoes were hard inside! I finished my meal, but could see Mum really didn't enjoy hers leaving a substantial amount on her plate, and having tried her lamb it really was inedible! We were then offered a full list of desserts rather than the set menu, having chocolate brownie and creme brûlée (both were gorgeous) When the bill arrived, I was hoping they would have somehow made amends, but alas no ... as Mum doesn't like to cause a fuss and it was her treat, I decided not to say anything, although the staff manager could tell we weren't happy. Having come from East Sussex for the day and regularly have great Sunday roasts in local pubs, I was hoping for something special in this restaurant, but sadly that wasn't the case. In fact it's probably one of the worst roast dinners I've had in a long time. I very much doubt we'll return ..."
