"It has been a few years since our last visit to the Museum, and one of the highlights was dining at the Garden Restaurant. Last week, we were looking for a light lunch and I chose the asparagus and goats cheese quiche with salads. Unfortunately, the quiche was a small piece with a broken crust and minimal cheese. Despite an impressive list of salads, there were limited options available - chickpeas (which I am allergic to) or tomato and red onion (which I dislike). The waitress seemed puzzled when I requested a different salad. In the end, I was served some wilted salad leaves. The bread roll I had was stale and may have been fresh two days prior. My husband ordered the leek and potato soup, which was tasty but came in a very small portion. While I do not recall the exact price, I do remember that it was expensive. My advice would be to dine at the Cathedral cafe instead, where the food is delicious, reasonably priced, and the staff is lovely."
