Waited over an hour for a mixed grill £10 when it arrived it was 6 pieces of just warm meat , total waste of money,

First time ordering here and will definitely be ordering again. Lovely food, reasonable prices and delivery driver was very friendly

Order from here on a regular basis but tonight the food was swimming in fat , £13 in the bin , the food is usually good but today it was vile View menu

Very poor! Every time we order from here the order is either wrong or takes at least double the amount of time they say over the phone. Waste of time. Definitely do no recommend!

We have ordered from the Golden Grill more than a few times in the past 12 months. They confirm they have your order and indeed take your money but that doesn't mean you'll get what you have order. Go elsewhere would be our advice. Many times, their staff are waiting around and not doing anything. No apologizes for not having your order, oh and they will charge more.

I was the only customer in when I arrived, there were at least half a dozen staff stood around doing nothing, none seemed bothered about serving me, when I was eventually served they messed up my order, when the food arrived it was terrible, soggy batter had to be binned, greasy and horrible, thankfully a new fish and chip shop ' Chesters ' are opening nearby this year, i can 't wait for a decent chippy locally View menu

food took over 2 hours to come even though was advised when asking BEFORE placing the order it was a 45 min wait time! I do understand these places do get busy for deliveries but when ringing and asking where my order is and being advised the food has left and will be with me in 10 minutes then still doesn’t turn up the service is appalling after the first call and being advised 10 more minutes it took another 45 minutes!!!! Do not order unless your willing to wait for cold food!

I regularly use this takeaway. Always home via delivery, it always arrives within the hour. I mainly order for Cod, chips and mushy peas, they always arrive hot and fresh and so tasty. No soggy batter that sticks to the paper wrapping. I actually find any faults which is very unusual for me! My Husband tried a Calzone pizza from here for the first time and loved it (even though he tends to be quite fussy! I would 100% recommend this restaurant. And also people who live within the delivery area; Bolsover/Doe Lea should give them a try, support your local businesses.

There two take aways in this area and as this one is also a chip shop we chose to order from here. Although this time it was a phone order, past visits indicate a very clean establishment that’s always busy. Ordered a few items, the burger was ok, but just a cheap patty of meat. The chip shop chips were a large portion, which was just as well as a lot of the contents were crispy little chip ends or bruised and now looked like black bits in the chips. The curry sauce was way too thick. The garlic bread was ok. The disappointment was the donor kebab meat.
