Great bar, great food, great beer. You can really feel the Russian influence in this place with the drinks and menu. Good staff to make it a nice place to hang out in Berlin

Schönes Restaurant, gutes Atmosphäre und beste Service! Alles war lecker und das Dessert (Malinka) war unsere Highlight. Auch kinderfreundlich, mit Wickeltisch und Hochstuhl da.

Ich war mit einer Freundin hier zum frühstücken. Es gibt sehr ausgefallenes Frühstück, zum Beispiel "schwarzes Meer" mit Blinis und Lachskaviar. Man kann hier sehr schön draußen sitzen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, leider mussten wir aber etwas länger auf unsere Getränke warten. Trotzdem kann ich das Gorki Park auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen. View menu

This cafe has a "communist" feel with Russian references and the choice to add a shot of vodka to your order. The breakfast menu is vast and we couldn't decide what to have as it all looked delicious. I chose a Black Sea breakfast which included trout purée, caviar, smoked salmon and avocado. The coffee was strong and hit the spot! We sat outside and watched the world go by. A most pleasant way to spend a few hours in Berlin in the morning.

My Chinese wife and I just saw the Soviet War Memorial and felt in the mood for E European food. She felt we should celebrate the victory of communism by (ironically) eating. Ha! In all seriousness, we had a good meal at Gorki. The staff are super friendly and their menu intro is pretty lighthearted so we liked the vibe of the place. You can sit outside and people watch while you eat. We had the Russian standards: borsch, pelmeni etc and the wife had a rather strong white Russian. The food was pretty good. It won't blow you away...but it's borsch and pelmeni so it's not like I was expecting molecular cuisine right? Besides, people under communism would kill for food like this. Literally!

Food was good, previous reviews indicate that there is an issue with the service, and we had the same experience. If you have time and don 't mind, then you can go there anyways and have a good time, they were not unfriendly or anything. Examples: One drinks order was forgotten, no apologies from the staff, just a I will check on it ... as if a tea can somehow take an hour to be made. Did not get extra glasses for a bottle of water that was for the table.. They did not have enough glasses for a second round of drinks, so after we waited a long time and asked, the staff said can we take your empty glasses before we bring out the next round rather then just saying straight away that they need...
