When its busy they could do with clearing the tables and sweeping up a bit more often but its usually a pleasant place to sit. And so much cheaper and quicker than Costa. Toilets are ok too. Greggs in Clacton centre is very good for food in or take away you can also found one in Clacton village which is very good too .

my 9 year old son had tun a and sweetcorn baguette that looked like kingsize torpedo i had a nice coffee sat outside in the shade and not disturbed by seagulls

Been many times over the years but has been revamped by HQ. Now no plates and just a small serviette to eat food off. Just not a homely cafe anymore more a takeaway for bread products.

This is a typical greggs, but has a good selection of fresh items and lovely hot coffee. Its in the town centre and only a few minutes from the seafront and pier. Staff are friendly which helps.
