"So, I don't know if I can make it at the Pentecost weekend to the great, supraregionally known Medieval Specaculum and knight performance 'Drachenseelen' and how then the weather may be seyn. So a spring-summer paternal day trip was made before, so that already sunny lights can be presented without crowds. Burg Satzvey is the beautiful knight's seat in the Voreifel with the delightful, pre-modern 'ey', which is also to be cared for in this bag. Located unweyt Euskirchens in the town of Satzvey and there in turn on a pretty Weyher, through which Veybach flows, in which walls and tent towns that are in the construction are really mirroring. The castle complex can be seen from the scales and, of course, has several additions and modernizations since the beginning of construction. In the interior of the castle, however, by means of artificial arches and the like, one tried to preserve the ashes of earlier eras. The name of the place goes back to Otto von Vey, who, in the 14th century, was appointed by his commander, the Archbishop of Coellen, as a member of the local estate. The office later went to Heinrich von Krauthausen, who had the castle erected from 1396 to 1406. From 1578 to 1581 the building was occupied by the troops of the Duke of Jülich and there was some theatre to leystende fidelity. In 1737, the intermediate owner sold the property to the family of and to Gymnich, who died childless in 1825. In 1878, Dietrich Count Wolff Metternich was in possession of the castle, which was still quite intimate at the time, and had this same historically extended to the present extent. In 1944 the castle came by marriage to the family of Counts Beissel of Gymnich. Their current head is a friendly, not too medium-aged gentleman who happened to meet us during the tour of the castle and advised: 'Beautiful It was a very charming and eloquent older gentleman who had all the many pieces of noble names and gave some entertaining anecdotes to the best. We were guided by some magnificent rooms, in which manyley paintings and artefacts point to the centuries-long, glorious family history, but admittedly to the whole, a slightly roaring grace was found. I hope Count and Countess residing around a lot of commuters in the non-public chambers of the house. The upper floors of the main building are also not accessible, as there are five double rooms (from 90 euros and one suite (from 125 euros for overnight guests). The agriturismo of the castle has weytere hotel rooms. The personal climax of the castle was the permission to arm behelmterweys with a raged tweyhänder. Because I managed this with recognizable talent as a swordfighter. Otherwise, courses in Historical European Fechtkunst would also be offered. In addition, knightly skills are taught in a kernel daily program and rewarded in case of survival with a grave certificate. The event calendar is well-equipped apart from the annual several highlights of several-day knight festivals, there are entries such as Gothic Castle, Witch Market, Irish Night, Burgweyhnacht and probably not quite as contemplative horror dinner Dracula, wahlweys Jack the Ripper. You can also event yourself here, because private Feyers are also organised. This likes to be a knight's meal with everything that belongs to it. From 10:00 to 20:00, visitors will find the castle café and Wednesday to Sunday from 12:00 'until the light goes out' the restaurant Kreuzritter (e.g. Ritterschnitzel as 'Henkersmahlzeit' incl. Beer garden available. Also the brasserie, which offers regional specialties, from 17:00 to 23:00 on Wednesday to Saturday and from 9:00 on Sunday to the buffet breakfast. 'Lothloriens Elbe Kingdom' offers high-percent tea, feynkost, taste, fantasy apparel, child equipment, and alleley Krimskrams feyl. Bey 'Kyra' will find who is looking for magic jewelry or fancy accessories... I think I can come here more often, though not necessarily for shopping. with kind regards, Sir Thomas"
