"We only get to Shaftesbury two or three times a year and found Gusto a while ago. Yesterday we visited twice, once for superb coffees and cake mid-morning (wonderful raspberry Bakewell slice); then back for paninis for lunch. Lovely atmosphere in Gusto, as ever, with friendly, welcoming owner working extra hard as some of his team self-isolating. But great service and value nonetheless. A footnote to the town council....the atmosphere in that end of town was much more pleasant when the road was closed and cafes, etc were able to put tables and chairs out. It really transformed the ambience of the whole area. You should close the road again, say after 10am to enable morning deliveries. A little imagination and flexibility would go a long way to helping traders and visitors in this part of the town and the visitor/ shopper experience as a whole. There are no good reasons not to do it."

We sat outside and savored a bacon baguette and a tuna melt panini with two flat white coffees. The service was friendly. We would recommend this place.

I had a great time enjoying some delicious tea and paninis at this restaurant. The atmosphere was cozy, the staff was friendly, and it was centrally located.

We absolutely adore Gusto's! Their coffee is fantastic and the food is amazing. Definitely better than any of the mainstream coffee chains on the high street. Thank you, Gusto's! View menu

We went in for coffee and panini. Not exceptional but reasonably priced and tasty. Staff very friendly. A big coffee spill was dealt with, no fuss made and with a smile. Thank you!

We stopped here 4 times during our 1 week in the area. Coffee was excellent as was the service with a smile. Friendly locals too. We didn’t eat here but the food looked great. The owners were lovely and nothing seemed to be too much trouble for anyone. Highly recommend this place.

We usually pop in Gusto if we’re out and about in Shaftesbury. We love the cosy atmosphere there. The coffee is lovely. The paninis, sandwiches and cakes have generous fillings and always served with a nice little side salad. The staff are always attentive and efficient. Gusto is highly recommended by us. View menu

What a great place this is. Found it as we were walking around Shaftesbury. Looked very homely from outside so went in met by a friendly chap and showed us to a table for two. We both had toasted sandwiches on the granary. Didn’t have to wait long for them, piping hot, I had cheeses and onion a hubby had ham and cheese. Very filling. I had hot choccie and hubby had tea. Great prices and personal service not like the high street franchises. Busy place with lots of people getting their lunch and they must be regulars as they were on first term names. Will definitely visit again when in the area.

"The Museum Inn, located in Farnham, Nr. Blandford Forum, Dorset, DT11 8DE We booked late on Friday night and only one room was available so it was meant to be! We arrived around 5pm and were greeted by friendly staff, shown to our room The Catch and made a reservation for dinner, luckily they still had spaces for dinner but it is advised to book in advance. Lovely spacious room and bathroom, kettle, teas, coffees and bottled water supplied. I have to say I fell in love with the hand wash and hand cream, I have already purchased some for home, the brand is called Bramley and the scent is Lavender, Geranium and Petitgrain. The bed is probably the most comfortable we have ever slept in that is not our own, soft feather pillows that were just right! Dinner was a three course meal and it was delicious, we took 2 hours to eat but never felt rushed or like we were waiting too long between courses. Starters: Ham hock terrine with sourdough toast and Prawn, potato and crayfish fishcakes. Mains: Burger and Steak Ale pie Desserts: Chocolate Brownie with cherry sorbet. Biscoff donuts with pumpkin pie ice cream Drinks: Poretti lager and Cherry cocktail. Breakfast: Eggs Royale and Smashed avocado, poached egg and bacon, absolutely scrumilicious! Big thanks to Amanda who served us this morning and checked us out. Highly recommend staying and eating here and we will 100% be back again! Safe travels! The Allsebrooks x"
