"We came in for a late lunch on a Saturday. It was so busy, we barely found a place to sit. We cleared the table ourselves. The next challenge after that: long lines. The pizza line was the shortest and fortunately I wanted to try the truffle pizza that was advertised in the window. The truffle pasta was also a special. Both had the option to add beef but I passed. I ordered a San Pellegrino (sparkling water) from the bar. They asked if I wanted a large or small. It appears you are supposed to order all drinks, including the water, at the bar. They weren't quite keeping up with clearing all of the tables, including ours, but there wasn't an obvious place to bring the trays when we were finished. There was a line to pay and to their credit, they opened a second cashier to help us leave."

Vapiano is a self service chain restaurant. The restaurant offers a simple yet 'chill ' atmosphere. The dining room is huge and features high ceilings and glass windows. There are plenty of carefully spaced long tables and sofas. Reservation is not required don 't worry if the place is packed...at Vapiano, it 's easy to share a table with strangers...Another nice things about this restaurant is it has a great outdoor seating! Don 't even bother looking at the menu, order the Crema Di Funghi! It is so delicious, my boyfriend and I come here very often and we both get it every time! The restaurant itself is a fast casual German Italian chain, where you order your dish directly at the cook, watch them make it, then find a seat and eat it. The space itself is really nice, with high ceilings and large big windows. There 's also a really nice and large outdoor seating area during summertime. I prefer the indoor setting in the city center Vapiano to the one at the Hafen. Service is always friendly enough. View menu
