"The restaurant is quite well placed at downtown near the city hall. The facade and the decoration was beautiful and in the style of an old typical german restaurant. The restaurant was full of people that, like us, were in the city for a big trade show at Frankfurt Fair. There was just one waiter attending the tables so reaching him was really hard.We asked two goulash soups a prok knuckle and a Schnitzel. The soup was good. My colleague ate the schnitzel because he was really starving. I´ve been many many times in Germany and in many German restaurants in the world and I can confirm that this was the worst I ever tried in my whole life. I don't know if it was frozen and defrozen several times or it was rebaked after some hours but the only adjective that comes to me to define its state is "fossilized". The half potato aside had good taste due to the topping but it had just few centuries less. I just had a bite of the knuckle and left it aside. The positive thing ... the bread was good. When the waiter brought the bill and tidy up the table didn't make any question on why I didn't touch the knuckle. We paid (warning! they don't accept credit cards) and went away."
