"My wife and I spent three nights at Henneberger Haus, ate a dinner at the restaurant and had a great breakfast every morning. We cannot recommend the beautiful, well-run place enough. Our room was huge and overlooked the main resistance. It had so many historical dates and such character, while also a modern, well-equipped bathroom. The lamb I had an evening for dinner was juicy and perfectly prepared. Our hostess, Kerstin, was friendly and attentive. She even packed us a lunch for the train. The stay was a highlight of our 2 weeks in Germany. And beautiful Meiningen is worth a look."

My husband and I were here tonight. The service was average, didn't have to wait long for our food. We ordered an entree with the goose breast with dumplings/baby balls Spruten and the other duck was pork carving with fries. The goose breast meat was not much taste, but like the crispy skin. We liked the shoering fries better than the carvings, pork was dry n hard.
