"Vorweg sei gesagt, dass wir insgesamt sehr zufrieden waren und jederzeit wiederkommen würden. Die nachfolgend genannten Aspekte beziehen sich auf das angeschlagene Preisniveau, das gewisse Erwartungen evoziert. Gargrad und Temperatur von Zwiebelrostbraten und Schweinemedaillons waren nicht perfekt, vermutlich haben die Gerichte etwas zu lange gestanden vor dem Servieren. Die Entscheidung laut Speisekarte Pommes als Beilage zum Zwiebelrostbraten zu servieren, kann nur wirtschaftlicher und nicht kulinarischer Natur gewesen sein, obendrein da diese nicht selbstgemacht, sondern solide Imbiss-Fritten waren. Die zusätzlich bestellten Käsespätzle waren aber lecker und als Beilage fair bepreist. Die mit den Gerichten servierte Soßenmenge ist sehr übersichtlich, Nachbestellung wird berechnet. Das Lokal ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet, der Service sehr freundlich und kompetent. Onlinereservierung war problemlos möglich. Wir würden einen Besuch empfehlen."

"Wir waren aufgrund der guten Bewertungen dort, da wir im Kinzigtal irgendwo essen wollten. Das Gasthaus liegt wirklich nett. Sitzt man auf der erhöhten Terrasse sieht man auf den Bauschutt des benachbarten Hauses. Die Bedienung ist wirklich äußerst nett und die Lage sehr ruhig. Dann kam das Essen: trockene Schnitzel, im Fett schwimmende Bratkartoffeln sowie genauso im Fett schwimmende Käsespätzle. Der Beilagensalat war frisch und selbst gemacht, aber mit gutem Willen wirklich max. 3 Sterne."

"The main selling point for this hotel has to be the location and the building itself. It feels like you have time travelled. It even had a rotary dial phone that looked like something you would see it in museum. We stayed in the romantic room which was aptly decorated with flower petals and all. It was indeed very romantic. You have the view of the small intimate market place from the window. You have everything you need in the room, even a TV! Not that you will be watching TV if you are visiting this area. We loved the breakfast, it's the usual thoroughfare, nothing fancy but good enough to get your day started. Hosts were very kind and warm. There were parking available in front of the property. WiFi signal was also good in the room itself. For the negatives though, there are only a few but it has more to do with the choice of the hotel itself so can't really blame it on the property. Problem with time travelling is that older times weren't always as comfortable. Heating situation in the room definitely needs some improvement. We were very cold during both the nights we stayed.First night was colder than the second one. I am guessing that heater ran through the day and night to make the room a little bit warmer. Similar story with the bathroom as well. We were in fact dreading coming back to the room after the whole day knowing our car is warmer than our hotel room. Also we didn't get to eat in the restaurant which is again due to time of the year but we would have liked to be able eat in the restaurant. We were informed about restaurant being closed after booking was confirmed."
