perfect French steak restaurant that is everywhere to be found. they offer a consistent brand offer. the menu is extensive and has a wide starter, main dessert menu. they also offer an extensive beverage menu. hippopotamus is a chain that never...fails the staff are friendly and are designed for families. they color books for the children. it is also a good value.

Hippopotamus restaurants are part of a chain but they are certainly worth trying. The beef is good quality, the service is efficient, and the restaurant is warm and cozy (especially nice on a chilly, rainy day). It's very kid-friendly and we didn't have any problem...finding something for everyone in our group. The fries were especially good andt he dessert sampler was a big hit. We all got to try a taste of several items.

I have eaten here twice. Good food, reasonable portions, nice helpful and accommodating staff. The menu is also in english and yes they speak english.
