"Stumbled upon this beautiful restaurant by accident, during our visit to Montauroux in June 2017. A difficult to impress frontage, looked welcoming, and offered on a board some recommendations. I put my head round the door, and was welcomed by a beautiful young lady waitress, with a natural welcoming smile. My French was as small as her English, but we soon established they sold Chardonnay, which is the green light for my wife Jane, to sit down and enjoy. The internal decor was modern, and fresh and bright. Not mentioned in many reviews, but so important to us, was the toilet condition, often poor in many countries. Wow, Wow, Spotlessly clean, modern, home from home. Yippee!! As we were accompanied by our life partner Westie, called Sunshine, we decided to eat at the tables over the road opposite the restaurant. As we sat, a very well dressed, elegant lady arrived, who we rightly identified as the owner. You could feel the sense of pride, as she entered her establishment to join forces with her daughter for the evening. My wife chose what sounds boring, but I assure you was the best tomato and partisan salad she had ever tasted. I went for the "Whilst in France" option, of escargot, which was hot and delicious, and Fresh. Mains, the wife had Spicey COD, cooked to perfection, accompanied by the best rice we have ever tasted, judging against the Orient, Thailand etc. I had pork steak, with a raspberry twist, which was beautiful, and different, and perfectly cooked. We finished off with an assiette of cheese, accompanied with Santana's, honey, and sesame seeds, Superb. What a great find by accident. Make sure when you visit Montayroux, or the South of France, you MUST pay this family run, Restaurant a visit."

An English review_Hello all, I've just got back from an amazing lunch in Villeneuve Loubet Village and thought I'd share the experience.

We went here for a family evening meal. The staff were attentive and very accommodating. The food was reasonably priced, well presented and tasted beautiful. Highly recommended.

Good starters (melon and ham), main dishes ok but not superb. Very friendly service, children got buns for their kid menu so they had proper burgers (very tasty burgers btw.) Fun to watch traffic pass by!

Food was of good quality! Services are OK (kinda dangerous for them, they need to cross the street alot) you can sit outside, on a cosy spot. The only good restaurant open on monday! Try to make a reservation beforehand!

We had a lovely sunday lunch and we both had the beef Bougninon with tagliatelle which was excellent. As every other person has mentioned the fruit tiramisu was outstanding. The service was personal , friendly and efficient. The only negative observation is that the price of house wine compared to local restaurants is a little high. Overall well done , we will be back. Merci Beaucoup.

We arrived on abusy Monday evening - they were open and all outside tables fully booked. We were offered a table inside and went for that despite being a bit warm! We asked for a menu and were shown the specials board but not everything else! We asked again and got arather short response and nothing. We were asking in our best French! After some time we decided to cut our losses and left - Found Le Mas des Aanges near E Leclerc that was excellent!

Went for there for lunch with my parents as we were visiting the area. Not much was open in town as it is late November so we ended up at Histoire Sans Faim completely by chance. We are big fans of simple French bistro style cuisine and were not disappointed by their offerings! Great value for price. Go for the daily special! Had the tartare maison+frites and the tiramisu for dessert. You can REALLY taste everything is homemade!!! I only wish I lived closer by so we could go there again!! Yum! Family owned. The papa is the cuisto, and la fille runs the dining room ;)

My husband and three children ate here on our penultimate night of our stay in Provence and loved the whole experience. The restaurant is stylish, smart, clean and the food was delicious. We ate inside as the outside ta les were all taken. We were served by one of the three owners, a very chic, charming lady who explained the menu to us in her limited English and patiently understood our limited French. She was super with our 14, 13 and 9 year olds and understood how they wanted their burgers. We had fish dishes which were beautifully cooked and very tasty. I would throughly recommend this restaurant and wish the owners the very best with their business.
