"the well-maintained hospitality was held here, after flyer, for 90 years. so far I can't report interesting things, but for 35 years we have been here several times a year. On the one hand, it was because the house was located quite on the edge of the city, but right on the road to the city, and on the other hand, as you always stayed close, and finally because it housed a Wienerwald for over a few years, which also offered other Bavarian foods. big, rustic dining room, we always liked it. Nevertheless it was always full, pulled out of me unknown reasons out Wienerwald a few years ago, and that was converted locally into the hendlhaus. the device remained the same, even here it could be stopped. in this year there was no more to our surprise also the hendlhaus, instead of which they can read about newly renovated facade hofbräu obermenzing. we decided to go to dinner in the evening, see what has changed. with good appetit, they had nothing more since the breakfast, we entered the local. the usual equipment no longer existed, but one can get used to something new, and badly did not look. dark wood, large chandelier, with harvested cramps, on the walls historical photos of the city part obermenzing. there were only a few tables occupied that made it appear a little bald. it also took 5 minutes to a waiter who brought us the card. he probably didn't know a German because he didn't speak a word. these disappointed a little. nix was with Bavarian quastens. soup, salad, grilled meat of all kinds with the same supplements. a few cold foods. it took a long time (not much for it) until a second waiter appeared, probably the German language mighty, which accepted our drink and the desire of eating. my man ordered Bavarian sausage salad with broth for 7.90 euro, and I grilled chicken breast for 13.50 euro. Belgian pommes, barbeque sauce and crumble butter were offered. we drank a small beer and a small spezi. it took quite a long time to eat, which looked quite delicious at the first sight, actually delicious, but after some color access, the teller was already empty, and we had still starving. the sausage salad, consisting of a few slices, swirling and dripping, hard broth that was mine, and for which a part of my pommes snapped, not saturated. my grilled chicken breast was cut into 5 narrow strips, one consisted almost only of bones, there was probably a rib on it, and the rest of my, in itself a few, pommes did not fill. in the quiet, the speechless was re-evacuated, and on the other I paid 26,50 euro with drinks, which was too much for me. Conclusion: 4 stars for the beautiful environment, the large beer garden, the many parking spaces. 2 stars for service and eating. my tipp for touris, who would like to eat typical Bavarian and in real Bavarian environment, please not."

The food was very good and the Service also. Quiet (we visited at around 4.30 pm). But in the evenings this Restaurant can be a busy place. We will come back! View menu

Hofbrau was again a great spot to go. It was PACKED though, which led to a bit of slow service. In all, it's a great restaurant the food and beer were amazing.

I went here when visiting family in Munich the food was absolutely delicious and the waiter was very nice. He didn't try to speak English with us when we spoke German, which we appreciated as we wanted to practise but I'm sure he would have spoken English if needed. The kaiserschmarn was the best I've ever eaten I definitely recommend! View menu

I was here when I visited my family in a few minutes - eating was absolutely delicious and the waiter was very nice. he did not try to speak English with us if we spoke German, what we appreciated very much, because we wanted to practice, but I am sure he would have spoken English if he had been required. the imiserschmarn was the best I ever had - I can only recommend it!

Previously there was a very good meadow forest. before the current pächter was the ex-host of the old wet, who had died with his passenger. at the beginning everything was very good, then unfortunately went downhill. a new one: there were few guests in the environment, and I took the menu myself. the waiter came after a long time. I ordered this lunch because something like that always goes very fast in normal cases. unfortunately it took 20 minutes to eat. the food looked good, even the part was sufficient. (see photos) unfortunately tastefully underground. I couldn't eat. the waiting period was crass. a few next to me, the waiter, also the long wait for her to eat. the waiter spoke about t...

"Indian restaurants are becoming almost as ubiquitous in Munich as Italian restaurants lately, or so it would seem. So why did I give this one get 5 stars? In part because Yelp doesn't allow for half star ratings and I didn't feel right giving four after my wonderful dinner experience there and the excellent meals my guy has had there before me. Kamasutra is close to his work and we had dinner here after him and work friends raved about this place for lunch. They've only been open for about three months but it's a regular lunch stop for them now. One thing I noticed early on, they do not take shortcuts. Great care is put into food and service. The menu is varied, good selection of wine and cocktails too. Service was friendly and attentive from start to finish. The interior is more modern and sleek than most Indian resto's. But what about the FOOD? We were in curry heaven. I had a jumbo shrimp curry and he had a chicken vindaloo. Sauces for both were rich, had complex, nuanced flavors and were not greasy or oily. And when they say spicy, they mean spicy, so for those of you lamenting the lack of proper spice level, make your way here NOW. If you don't want your curry toned down for the German palate, do have some here. Lovely garlic naan, very generous serving of good basmati. Delicious mango cream for dessert and real chai that wasn't syrupy sweet. Kamasutra is a real gem and a welcome addition to Munich."
