"I'm currently injured, not able to walk and in a wheelchair so my Fiance and her cousin came here to order us some meals, which would have totaled over 80€ but unfortunately we were not able to order because they do not do food to take with you. I have a long history of fine dining and I do understand the business but let me tell you I've been places 10x times more elegant in Germany, Italy, Brasil, Portugal, Spain and had no problem getting food to go. It's no wonder all the people in this city center are 50 feet down the road at this other restaurant. I guess our money is no good here. Thanks for the inconvenience Hoppes."

Very popular, could not get in without a reservation. The restaurant was packed with locals, and had a great ambiance. The food was good German fare, fortunatly they have an English menu.

This place is exceptional, the food was extremely flavorful and the size of the portions was perfect. My personal recommendation is the Rinderrostbraten, but the beef filet was also superb! The service was very friendly and we all felt very welcome. Highly recommended!

We were a large family group of eight adults and two children. Service was extremely polite and delivered with great welcome. We were made to feel as if we were a member of the family at the restaurant . Everything in the evening was perfect. If we are in Pforzheim again I am sure we will visit again.

I was there with two colleagues we had a nice meal. Fish was perfect, chicken was nicely done.Slightly pricey but so nice that it was worth it.My colleagues went their a few times and said they always got really nice food there. The staff was friendly expect one waiter who was a little odd, nice but odd.

Great local food in a combined German and French kitchen. Both meat as well as the salad was tasteful. Quite large main dishes. Can recomend the bacon/goat cheese starter. The interior design of the restaurant feels very german in a family friendly way, quite far from stylish/modern but cosy and nice.Staff is helpful and provided good service.A perfect place to get local dishes in a relaxed and friendly athmosphere.

We have been for a dinner tonight my husband and 2 teenage kids. We had a great dinner. All dishes arrived with big portions. The food tasted excellent, the service is so pleasant, helpfull, caring and with a wide smile all the time. Typically german place, very warm and cozy.We are so glad we arrived to this place for dinner. If we be again in the area, we will certainly come for another dinner.Highly recommended restaurant!!!!!

We have been here before and we always love the food, fresh, authentic and very tasty. I believe it is a family owned restaurant, they provide friendly service, serving great quality food reflected in their prices. Their salads are so fresh, all the foods we have had have always been exceptional, schnitzel, fried potatoes, spätzle and vegetables. They have a good wine lis and are excellent at recommending wines. We as love their traditional decor, it is warm and cozy. We would definitely go back!
