Todo buenísimo y la atención fantástica. Recomendación personal: canelones de setas y berenjenas con albahaca.

"Friendly locals recommended this restaurant ! Were they really friendly? We entered at 2pm. The bar was heaving(it was a bridging day between Bank holiday and the weekend). We ordered drinks and asked for the menu del dia. At that point we should have been directed to the restaurant proper, the existence of which we only discovered when we went to the loo.The menu was 15€, 25€ or 35€. These are expensive for Spain. The 15€ menu offered only a choice of 3 starters and 3 mains. We decided to order from the ordinary menu. My husband wanted gambas a la plancha, I fancied a 4 cheese pannini. Decision made , we tried and tried to get the waiter to take our order, but he kept indicating he was coming then being side tracked. It took 20 minutes to give our order! And they were not serving panninis. No explanation, just a shake of the head. At that point we should have cut our losses and left, but we didn't! Instead we waited, and waited, and waited. After 45 minutes we said we were leaving and a waitress brought a couple of small tapas and assured us our food would come very soon. She actually said 3 minutes but it took 10 more minutes and it was only as we stood up to leave that our food arrived. My bacon baguette was fine. My husbands prawns were disgusting. We eat a lot of prawns. They cost 7€ a kilo and you get a lot in a kilo. For €13 he got 13 prawns..nothing else.Fresh prawns peel easily and are relatively easy to clean. These prawns, dipped in hot oil, were really awkward to peel and impossible to clean...they were not fresh. However, as a diabetic who needed food a good half an hour previously he just had to eat them, and half my baguette too as 13 prawns do not constitute a meal. I asked to speak to the manager but he was unavailable. We were offered free coffee and refused, so our soft drinks were taken off the bill. We spend a lot of time in Spain and eat out frequently. This is undoubtedly the worst food we have had."
