Beautiful view and terrace, good food without being exceptionnel, staff unfriendly and not making you feel welcome.

we had dinner there, eating was nice, the waitress was very friendly. note: they close at 22.00 o'clock (although we were not thrown out when we stayed longer and had more coffee).

This restaurant has been a favorite of mine over the past 3 years but lately it has (after a mgmt change) even at best mediocre. The view is still spectacular but the service level has dropped dramatically. I will give it one more shot but...I will not hold my breath!!!

Me and my girlfriend had a smartbox for a lunch for two and we used it here. The staff has been really kind, they accepted the reservation with no problem/complication at all. We had a table in front of the lake, with a truly stunning...view. Service had been really good, with a waitress very kind and helpful. Menu has been super, we ate particular dishes: Fish with curry and saffron, patanegra with mushrooms and a dessert with chocolate and raspberry sorbet. I definitively recommend it! View menu

I really wish that I could comment on the view from this restaurant; it's overlooking the Lake of Gruyere. Unfortunately, if you go for an evening meal in the winter, you won't have much to see out the windows. As the restaurant is located in...a hotel, it has a good selection of diverse menu options, including some interesting winter game specials for the carnivores in the group. In my endless quest for the ultimate fondue, I gave it a try and can't complain, though it probably wasn't the best item on the menu. If you're looking for a comfortable option for a group, this would be a good bet.

great place with fantastic scenic view and beautiful meals. we were there for lunch it was very nice and delicious with a menu is not too expensive and very tasty. my man took an offered menu risotto and huh for only 21 Fr....and I took bark meattar a la cart, it was a great part of a very nice meat and French pommes. it is one of the best restaurants in the environment. this restaurant also offers evening gourmet offers, we will come to check it for our jubilee. the excellent lunch for two without wine, but with 1 beer and 1 Coca-Cola costs 64 fr. the only thing that was not pleasant was that the waiter forgot to blow us the water we asked. the rest was great.

Went there to celebrate my wife 's B.day savour some venison. The place used to be expensive but pleasant. Not any more. Now it is more expensive with poor service. Bad management further aggravates the situation. I Waited an hour to be served. Was asked...to taste the wine in the middle of our cocktails. Had to ask several times for bread. The two tables near us, although seated after us, were served before. I mentioned it to our waiter and all I got back was an I don 't understand smile. The personnel of an establishment at such a price level is supposed to anticipate the customer 's needs and respect the timing the rules in the service. To end it all, the owner 's wife, I suppose, came in... View menu
