"I'm really not one to complain but having said that, we got our starters quick but the mains took a ridiculously long time to come out, the 10 oz burger was at most a 6 oz burger, at most. It was over cooked to the point in was inedible, charred black and rock solid and they charged £15 for it, its bad when you have to go for food after having went for food. To make things worse, passing by the door to the kitchen, one of the chefs was making boaking sounds and spitting out the door, was disgusting to hear and see, one of the worst nights out eating I've had in a long time."

Amazing food! We ordered the Scottish chargrilled salmon, Brie, bacon, and cranberry ciabatta, and the hotdog fries - all of which were delicious and reasonably priced. The ambiance was lovely and the staff were very friendly and attentive. We will definitely be returning!

Hi I was there today for a lunch. The service was very slow. Took ages for the starter and even longer for the main!!! The main was not worth waiting for!! Very very disappointed. We did get a reduction on our meal but was soooo disappointed The male server was very apologetic but the female server was rude. I will not be back any time soon. Very sad cos we have had lovely lunches in the past View menu

very slow service party of 7 were almost 3 hours there, children chicken strips were boiled until my enkelin could not bite into them, my chicken burger was the same. the egg of the child came in a glass sun dish a plastic dish would have been better suited for a 2,1/2 year old. the young waiter was out to clapp a dog, didn't see him clean after that! outside looks beautiful, can try coffee / cake, but don't think dinner

Just had a family meal for 6 tonight. Have to say food was amazing and service excellent. The tables, crockery and cutlery all really clean. The decor is just lovely, we sat at the back looking out onto the beer garden, lovely spot. Dishes tried tonight steak/ale pie, 10oz burger, chicken burger (gluten free), fish and chips finished off with sticky toffee puddings, ice creams, sundaes and a panna cotta. Every dish was really fresh and tasty. 10/10
