brilliant place, good for local drinks and food. funky area with good vibe. look forward to coming back in the near future.

we had full English breakfast, smoothie to the coffee and it was really good! the staff was friendly, eating tasted good and the price was fair. we're coming back!

While helping my daughter move into her flat, we started to feel hungry. I stopped by this cozy cafe/restaurant and ordered a tuna mayonnaise and salad sandwich on whole wheat bread. The sandwich was freshly made for me... When I got back to the flat, I must say I really enjoyed the taste and quality. I will definitely be returning!

I ordered a baked potato with beans. I had never experienced an undercooked baked potato before, whether I cooked it myself or someone else did. That changed today. While it wasn't completely uncooked, it was a bit too firm for my liking, but still edible. The prices at this restaurant are reasonable for this area of London, which is why I am giving Hoxtons an extra star. View menu

We were aiming for a pub mentioned in our guidebook, but we had grandchildren aged 11 and 15 with us and the pub didn 't serve kids after 6:30. They suggested Hoxton to our daughter-in-law, which I heard as Hawk 's Den. A noisy, bustling place with good food and cheerful service, located in a hotel of the same name. Most of us had one of the relatively inexpensive steaks they offered and they all were good.

I went to Hoxtons with a friend today and the staff greeted us with big smiles, even though the shop was already busy. The service was outstanding, with helpful advice on cake choices. I settled on a delicious chocolate slice, which was divine when paired with a glass of prosecco. What sets this place apart is the personal touch - you truly feel valued as a customer, something that is often missing in chain coffee shops.

A lovely spot to sit down to lunch or nurse some coffees in the afternoon and watch the world go by.  There are only 5 or 6 tables arranged along floor length wrap around picture windows overlooking the intersection of hipster central at Old Street and Charlotte Road/Rufus Street.  We arrived at late at 14:00 when there were plenty of tables.  I imagine it could be busy here with office workers between 12:00 and 13:00.
