"We had lunch here me and my husband after shopping. It is very near the C&A department store, and we thought to sit here because we saw others having some chicken wings which were nicely roasted. The location is good, however it seems that the meat is quickly prepared…probably in a microwave and you can find blood next to the bone. It was disgusting! I could only eat the nice brown roasted flesh of the meat. The rest was left in the plate.A Pils beer here costs 3.80 euro, Chicken Drum (Barbecue) 9.70 euro, and a Gemischter Gartensalat 4.90. I would certainly not return here again, as there are nearby restaurants which are much cheaper and have a better quality food. I found out when I saw our friends scattered in the round area enjoying their meals and telling us how tasty everything was! The food we had here looked nice on the outside, but it was disappointing!"

Good value meals at reasonable prices served by friendly, efficient staff. Plenty of tables outside to take advantage of fine weather.

Best Weiner Schnitzel ever !!!!!! It was fantastic and served with peas and potato wedges. Very delicious. Great location, but it was dissenting to find that they do not serve safer kraut.

We have not planned to go to some restaurant during the visit of the xmas market but it was cold and was a good idea to grab some bite. The athmosphere is very good authentic the staff is very nice. Food is ok, not big at all, the prices are moderate until higher. Very good beer.

a beautiful rustic ambiente, rustic restaurant. delicious German food, really well made broiler. The service is very friendly and tries to operate as quickly as possible. However, when open up and down and is to be served, the customer must remain calm and not get excited. they can't chew. ;-)

Daher 1 Stern Abzug.

the restaurant wienerwald is now called hühnerhaus, but the "Wienerwald pasture" is still recognizable. the restaurant is located in the 1st og, when sitting on the window you can look into the pedestrian zone. the facility is original/satisfactory, the menu is rich (mainly dishes with huh, but also alternatives). the waiting time for food and drinks was short, eating delicious (fresh!! half chicken with supplements) and proper portions. the waitresses are friendly, but occasionally ordered drinks are forgotten, in our case the digestive cup-bitter. In the evening it can be quite full.Factory: good local for hungry who do not need a crisp snack and like to eat chicken dishes

After two weeks in Germany, we needed a break from all the sausage and schnitzel. Walking along the high street (Seestrasse is just a continuation of Pragerstrasse), we decided to give this place a try. We ordered the house specialty, half a grilled chicken with fries and salad (11.90 Euros). The chicken appeared small at first glance, but turned out to be quite tasty and so meaty that we ended up stuffed to the gills. Both the fries and the salad were good too, and so were the Feldschlosschen and Wernersgruner draft beers (3.90 for 50 cl). The only drawback to eating here is that it is unsuitable for anyone with mobility problems. The restaurant is two flights up from the street, and to use...

"I stayed at the hotel in which this restaurant is situated, it is on the 5th floor, and I passed it a couple of times but it was always empty. One reason, I think, is that the menu is rather obscure, with slashes between the dish description as inscallop/saffron/guava/back puddingA little off- putting, I felt. However, as a lone diner, I was getting pretty fed up of waiting for bad food each evening, although in a beautiful setting, Dresden's main square and its surrounds. So on my last night I treated myself and got a table on the roof terrace. The waitress was very helpful and friendly, and produced a good selection of bread. It's clear there are 5 courses, an appetiser, a hot starter, a soup course, a main and dessert. I didn't want the soup. This wasn't a problem. To start, I had quail's egg/chick/gorgonzola/rocket, but it was so much more than that! It had a delicious fried bread cube, a gorgonzola sorbet, and crumbled herbs to garnish. It was, superb. But the description is selling itself short! The hot starter was also good, scallops in a saffron sauce, with a black pudding jelly. The "guava" ends up on the dish as a smear, nothing more. My main was beef/capers/sour cherries/ smoked aubergine, but again, more- a delicious sauce, and perfect mash- a small amount, but perfect....There are 3 dessert options, I enjoyed a nougat with gold leaf. In all, the food was beautifully presented, and the best food in Dresden so far, on a par, that is, with Kallemeiers where you have to book a table. This place deserves the same popularity but is selling itself short with the odd menu descriptions. It scares people off, like myself. I urge you to go and try for yourself. There's a great evening to be had, in a stunning setting."
