Il Belli Al Trionfale

My husband found this Resturant on our second day in Rome. Love the food and the staff. We actually went back again on our 5th day for dinner.

The Ribeye (Reeb eye) was really good but not trimmed well. A lot of silver skin and inedible fat. Atmosphere was great and when assistance was available they were very friendly.

Some of the best carpaccio I ever had in my life, Steak was absolutely juicy and full of flavors. You need to get a minimum of 1000g for ribeye and you will probably be served more than that, so bring a few friends with you and enjoy a delicious steak that will blow your mind with taste and juices. Everything about this place is fashionable, you can feel it in as small things as: plates, lights, design, music, menus and see. Staff are gentle, attentive and know exactly what you offer. I have not yet told you about the food and wine that are exceptional!!! The raw meat with Tartufo must! You can feel the high quality of meat in this place. I suggest this great restaurant.

We had a great diner here. We ordered the tasting menu for 4 people (with a group of 5 , this was no problem at all. We also orderd the red wine which tasted great. I think due to the amount of people here they forgot our bread (part of the menu . Due to the amount of meat and other items in the menu we did not miss this at all. Special plus was the zabaione desert, just wow :

Delicious steaks and fabulous service! Tonight we had a wonderful Steak dinner in Il Belli al Trionfale near the Vatican. Just a few minutes walk from our hotel and great menu with an extensive wine map. I had steak with pistachios and spinach also a eggplant appetizer with cream cheese wide...so good with Sangiovese from Umbria. Went to this place looking for a delicious steak and got it. In terms of flavor this place really knows what they are doing. That being said the paper table clothes and high pricing for the portions make this not a good value place. Hence it gets three starts as my number one factor to determining a restaurants rating is the ratio between taste (relative the local city) and price. Unfortunately this place fell very short in the value category. Perhaps it was the 1KG of Danish steak we ordered which had more non lean or edible parts than meat. Will likely try again if back in Rome as perhaps it was just the wrong dish to get, but until proven otherwise this place scores high on taste but very...
