"We booked via TheFork with 20% OFF the total. But unfortunately those 20% OFF are not making up for the bad pasta they cooked me. We ordered for starters Olive ascolane 9olives stuffed with meat) and Fiori di zucca (Zucchini flowers), and for the main...a Farfallinedel Boscaiolo (pasta with cream, sausages and mushroom) a Pizza del diavolo (Mozarella, tomato, spicy salami and red pepper) The next day I could still feel the creamy sauce (was more raw then cooked) going around my stomach, and the Farfalline pasta was completely overcooked. The Pizza del diavolo was OK, but nothing really special. They used the large slices of spicy salami, which is anything but traditional. The Fiori di zucca were not made fresh. They were completely over-fried, and tasted just soggy and awful. The TV was on and showing one cooking show after another, to the overall amusements between the fellow guests. But the owner, who was sitting in his little antiquated glass box was completely oblivious to all that. It's really a shame that the antipasti and pasta dish were so bad. It;s a very typical Italian restaurant that seemed stuck in the 1970. The waitress was the only highlight and extremely nice and friendly."

we had a nice service in their cool cellar and really delicious pizzas all at a very cheap price, especially so close to the Spanish steps. I would recommend a family dinner View menu

Walking through Rome to find an original local restaurant we saw Pizzeria Il Boscaiolo on a side street. Elena showed us the menu and convinced all of us that we could find what we wanted to eat tonight. All her recommandations were right on! We...had the pasta with cream sauce, mushrooms ans sausage, 4 cheese pizza and beef stake with red wine and beer. We wanted to eat more, just because everything tasted so delicious, and was home made as we ordered, but we could take 1 more bite... I can’t wait to come back to Rome when it warms up and sit outside on their cute and rustic patio and try other things on their menu... Thank you guys!

We booked about TheFork with 20% OFF the total. But unfortunately, this 20% OFF does not make for the bad pasta they cooked me. We ordered for appetizers Olive ascolane 9olives filled with meat) and Fiori di zucca (Zucchini flowers), and for the main a Farfallinedel Boscaiolo (pasta with cream, sausage and mushroom) a pizza del diavolo (Mozarella, tomatoes, spicy salami and red pepper) The next day I could still feel that the creamy sauce (which is raw, then boiled) goes around my stomach, and the farfalline pasta was completely overcooked. the pizza del diavolo was fine, but nothing very special. They used the big slices of spicy salami, that's anything but traditional. The Fiori di zucca w...
