"Io e il mio ragazzo abbiamo pranzato in questa osteria il 25 Aprile e ci siamo trovati benissimo. Il personale è fenomenale, non ho mai conosciuto persone più cortesi e accoglienti. Sono stati molto gentili nel chiarire alcuni dubbi che avevamo sul menù (il mio ragazzo è straniero e io vengo da un’altra regione, quindi non conoscevamo bene la cucina locale). Il mio compagno ha ordinato filetto di manzo e un contorno di verdure, mentre io (vegetariana) ho preso i pici infuocati, le “patate golose” e della panna cotta per dessert. Tutto delizioso! Se si parte da Firenze, il locale è facilmente raggiungibile in macchina. Noi, tuttavia, avevamo voglia di fare una passeggiata e siamo quindi venuti a piedi. La camminata è durata circa un’ora e ci ha condotto attraverso delle splendide stradine di campagna."

"I went there for a family dinner. The restaurant is spacious with a big outdoor space. The service is fast but not very friendly (the waiters prompted us 3 times to take away our dishes as we were still eating). The dishes are very simple, on the menu you’ll find mostly either grilled, deepfried or raw Fish. Though the fish is fresh the meal preparation is not particularly elaborated nor original. Raw starters are pretty tasty. A simple fish maincourse like impepata, or gnocchetti all’astice could be very tasty but unfortunately that night everything was pretty salty. Still, the wine of the house (vino della casa) was pretty nice (dry and light) accompanying well the fish flavours."

"We were only in Florence for 4 nights and we tried La Forca on our first night because it was just a short walk from our accommodation. We loved it so much, we decided come here every evening. The staff are all very friendly and welcoming, and they provide outstanding service. We appreciated the excellent quality of the food at very reasonable prices. The calzones and pizzas are delicious, the portions are large, and the french fries are the perfect balance of crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. On the second evening, I tried the salted caramel cheesecake which was absolutely divine. Total perfection. The caramel sauce was the best I've ever tasted, and I loved the cheesecake so much, I ordered it the next two evenings as well. I highly recommend this restaurant."

Upon completing my meal, I waited an hour for a prompt on dessert which didn't arrived so I left and retired to my room."
