"We stopped by for dinner late on Saturday and were lucky to get seated, on one of the tables on the restaurant’s terrace. Great ambience for sure. They have a meat or seafood set menu for Eur35, with 3 courses and a dessert. Good value. I found the food hit and miss though, with quite a few dishes being quite over salted. We ordered a meat set menu (cheese and meats platter, truffle pasta, roast pork and potatoes, tiramisu) and fish set menu (sashimi, seafood pasta which was much too salty to finish, boiled cod with chickpea mash, pudding), and the rest of my party ordered from the normal menu: assorted ravioli, and duck lasagnette, both of which were well presented and seasoned. Service though was really slow and it took us from 930 to 1130pm to get through dinner…"

"Il borgo è molto carino per cui vale la pena unire la visita ad una fermata in questo ristorante. Che poi è il ristorante dell'omonimo albergo in una struttura che era probabilmente un convento ed è stato ben riadattato mantenendo atmosfera e sapore antico. Il servizio è attento e l'offerta di ottima qualità con tanta tradizione locale. Io ho mangiato un ottimo flan di pecorino e mousse di pere, la faraona cotta sotto vuoto (ottima e ho apprezzato che oltre la coscia siamo stati serviti tre pezzi completamente disossati) e degli spinaci. Prezzo in linea con la media del territorio."

"it does not deserve more than three stars, not for the dishes that are of sufficient level even if the menu is not varied, but for the service that as available leaves puzzled. did not verify the green passage even if we were in possession and were present three pairs; he did not issue a receipt but having paid with paper. prices slightly higher than average for those in the area. if you find everything full."

"Il ristorante si trova in uno dei posti più caratteristici di Poggibonsi che alla sera fornisce anche una stupenda vista su tutto il paese. A livello di accessibilità sono presenti abbondanti posti per poter parcheggiare la macchina. Parlando del locale in se esso mantiene molto la tipica caratteristica che si ricerca in un ristorante situato in una fortezza di quell’epoca. Il menù è molto vario e presenta numerosi piatti di terra tipici della zona in cui si trova. Anche il servizio concorda con le aspettative e o camerieri sono tutti disponibili e gentili. I prezzi sono giusti in rapporto alla qualità offerta. In conclusione mi sento di consigliare fortemente questo posto sia a livello di posizione e vista che offre sia per la qualità dei piatti."
