"It is clear that the place is facing difficulties as today we were basically the only customers for lunch. We have been before and is substantially worse than last time (circa a year ago and completely a different place compared to few years ago. Today: staff doesn’t speak Italian, they took ages to get our order because they were playing in the inside of the empty restaurant with their phone. Also the staff is probably the kind of server you can pay the minimum as they were clearly not professional or capable focaccia (3£ was terrible and very old (probably few days old burrata (7£ was very cold and tasteless and super small pasta (10 12£ per portio was probably 40grams of pasta. The taleggio pasta was tasteless, the bolognese was acceptable meat plate. Only thing actually pretty ok, they have decent meat. they managed to mess up even the water that they served warm on a pretty hot day. I feel that the owner gave up on the restaurant (maybe via Emilia is doing ok? is very far from the old glory of the place and I speculate the place is going to close at some point. All in all very disappointing experience, mediocre and overpriced food most of which tasted old and taken out from the fridge. This is definitely the last time that we go avoid"

Really bad pasta, not good at all- the lasagna was made with SPAM yes!! Do not eat there. The service was poor, rude and no care

Pasta as light as a feather, small portions to share they recommend 3 bowls for 2 people, just delicious authentic food. Nice wine, too. And very reasonably priced!

One of the best places to eat italian food in London. I went there with some friend, we all thought that the service was eccellente, and the food Is real italian food. But, obviously the best part is the new chef. I loved this place, I recommend it <3. View menu

A wonderful spot for lunch or a fast casual dinner. The pastas are scrumptious and served in a lovely sized personal portion. We enjoyed the cappallacci di Zucca, tagliatelle rage and the tagliolini cacao e pepe. Do not miss the olives to share! Reasonably priced. We will return.

Fantastic place for adults and children. My tween son rated it 5 stars. He says “very charming quaint little place. The staff are excellent and very nice. The food is absolutely amazing especially the Bologna pasta. You should try it, it’s the best!” Adults loved the meat ravioli in broth, salami, amazing bread cooked fresh for us. Great vino. We came with child free friends and it was enjoyed by all.

We came here upon recommendation from a friend. The menu looked promising and the restaurant is in a good location. We ordered the focaccia and bread and burrata to start. However, the focaccia was stale and the other bread seemed to be Sainsbury’s tiger bread. We ordered three pasta dishes. The pomodoro and pesto pasta were just fine. The ravioli was not good. I don’t eat meat, so didn’t try any of the meat dishes, and therefore can’t comment on those. The Lambrusco was good and we enjoyed the bowls it was served in. I’ve been to many great authentic pasta restaurants in London, and unfortunately would not recommend this one if you’re a big pasta fan. It’s a shame as we really wanted to enj... View menu

We made a special trip to this restaurant after it was featured on the London episode of Searching for Italy with Stanley Tucci. It is a tiny restaurant, and the food is made to order, therefore food service is a bit slow especially if you have a large party as we had. However, our waitress was so friendly and attentive and the lovely lambrusco served in ceramic bowls allowed us to linger over our delicious cured meats and cheeses while we waited for the pasta to arrive. The pasta is freshly made (you could see it being churned out in the kitchen downstairs) and the portions intentionally small so you can try more than one. We went as a large extended family, but the restaurant seems ideal f...

Distinctly mixed. Ordered mortadella as a starter, thinking it would come with bread or something. When it didn’t, I thought OK, odd but fair enough, so I asked for some. Rather surprising answer: the last portion has just gone (this was 8pm on a Tuesday, with the restaurant still filling up with people). We make it on the premises and the next batch won’t be ready for two hours! Me: no bread in a restaurant, that’s crazy. Her: I know!! All very breezy, let’s all share the joke. No apology. Verdict on that: Not good enough! Bread is basic, not a signature dish (though of course it’s great to have a special one as an option- it needs to be available at all times in some form). Main was tasty...
