"I have often happened to this little place on my travel, and last night decided that it was about time that I siped into the inner. what a triumphal decision was it! this scenic little Italian bistro has bundles of charm, with packages of pasta hanging from the lights along the walls and it is filigree tied architecture brings a smile into my face. the restaurant was quiet, but the waiter who served us (who I think also makes the whole kitchen! it was the most polite service I had ever received in a restaurant in edinburgh, very personally. we were supplied with very nifty antique looking cutlery (picture, monograms and glittering, which summarizes the attention to detail in the service at inca. the food arrived quickly and without problems; I chose a pizza pollo while my partner went for the carbonara and we split a garlic brot. the crumbs in the cheese of the pizza were exactly right, the teig fluffy and not too crispy, and the huh has spread out beautifully, still plentiful. the carbonara had exactly the correct amount of seasoning, cheesy and bright yellow as it should be. the garlic bread was slightly crippled around the edges, and occasionally something too crispy for them, but I feel that this perfectly balances the other textures of the meal. I loved it inca. very nice eating of a really nice person. much quieter than many of the other Italian restaurants around the city and offer them quite a lot at the price. definitely worth a go if you want to ventilate from the more established names in edinburgh when they have a wee taste of italia."

Inca seem to be confused over precisely which type of cuisine they are serving.

Whenever I would walk past Inca, there would always be a good atmosphere and almost always busy.

June 2018. Great little Italian Restaurant with a 'trattoria ' like atmosphere. Reasonable price. Warm friendly staff. Good Pizza. Cold Peroni. What more do you want?

Sadly this restaurant has now closed permanently. Once had a loyal band of customers who wished the owner well for the future. But, the friends of Inca now must find another friendly restaurant.

My wife and I were traveling through Edinburgh and we 're looking for a place to eat, and when I saw Inca I honestly thought it was Mediterranean, but this ITALIAN place was absolutely fantastic. The gentleman who served us was very very personable, kind, and polite. And that 's before we even got to the food. We were craving some pizza, and it was definitely one of the best pizza we 've had, and definitely the best pizza we had in Scotland. Very reasonable price for an excellent meal.

This cozy little restaurant exudes an old school Italian vibe with its quirky decor and classic Italian menu. Despite my initial reservations about a lengthy menu, the dishes we tried were delicious and reasonably priced. The owner, a charming and slightly eccentric elderly Italian gentleman, greets guests with genuine warmth and affection. However, because he handles everything himself, the service can be unpredictable and disorganized. Fortunately, arriving early helped us avoid any confusion about seating or ordering. Patrons should be prepared for a relaxed dining experience, as there is no rush to accommodate everyone quickly. In a way, this personal touch adds to the restaurant's uniqu...
