"I can't believe how reasonable the international bar prices are and even more so during their happy hour (which actually lasts the whole evening of about 5pm.) we have found their Thai green curry several times and, in contrast to an earlier reviewer, have always found. it is excellent. at midday they charge less than £6.00 for them including a glass of wine. we do not live in london, but they cannot get this price in our hometown and if you have the fantastic location of the international metalgar square in the head, you do not know how to make it a price. the international has become our bar when we come to london. totally brilliant. can be very busy at peak times quite obvious why!"

I can't believe that OpenTable allowed me to book a reservation at a restaurant that was closed. This is unacceptable and I will not be using OpenTable again.

This restaurant has been closed since July, but it seems that many people are not aware of this. OpenTable should also update their information. No pre-show memory is not up to par.

Open Table, you are unreliable! The restaurant was closed on July 22nd. Why didn't you inform me? I kept receiving reminders up until the day before my reservation. This is completely disorganized! View menu

Open Table has recently updated their database to reflect that this restaurant has been closed for months and is no longer accepting reservations. Unfortunately, customers may be disappointed to arrive and find that the restaurant no longer exists.

Our experience at this restaurant was awful. The service was incredibly slow, taking 50 minutes for just one course, and the staff seemed overwhelmed and uninterested. The food was disappointing as well. My daughter's fries were clumped together and the Thai Curry was mainly just a bowl of mushy rice. This place is a typical tourist trap that reflects poorly on London.

that was a terrible experience. the service was ridiculously slow, we waited 50 minutes for a single cure and the staff was overthrown and therefore uninterested. eating when it finally arrived was very poor. the pommes of my daughter were a confused chaos to put everything together and as for the thai curry! not much more than a bowl with soggy reis. classic tourist trap that london will give a bad name. I remember this place, the worse I've eaten for years. eating didn't come together and some of them lacked something. some of them have never turned up. to add insult, they were not even busy. I think there was another one. Couple food. When I was complaining about the waitress, she nodded as if she had given up with it for a long time. How hard is it to cook decent chips, especially when they are a restaurant? they can't cook them. the rest was so poor mcdonalds would have been better. (and I'm not there since I'm a teenager. they save their money, they are also expensive. it is a bad value for very, very bad food. they were warned!

I am amazed by how affordable the prices are at the International bar, especially during their Happy Hour which lasts all evening from 5pm. We have tried their Thai green curry multiple times and always found it to be excellent, unlike what a previous reviewer mentioned. They charge less than £6 for it at lunchtime, which even includes a glass of wine. We don't live in London, but it would be hard to find that price in our hometown. Considering the amazing location of the International in Trafalgar Square, we are impressed by the value they offer. It has become our go-to bar whenever we are in London. It can get very busy at peak times, but it's easy to see why!

"The decor of the restaurant is really lovely. We were greeted as soon as we arrived. We placed our orders quite briskly. We received complimentary bread and olives, which was a nice touch. Our Bruchetta starter arrived a whole hour after we arrived, which was disappointing and far too long to wait for a cold and easy starter. The menu did not specify that the prawns on one of the bruschettas were raw! The waiter said service was slow because they were busy with Uber Eats and Deliveroo. Clearly not prioritising paying customers, who pay a 12.5% service charge, unlike online customers. Eventually, our main courses arrived. My pasta was only just cooked, so close to being undercooked and hard. They ran out of ricotta and replaced it with the tiniest amount of cheese so I asked for some more. Since ricotta was supposed to be the main ingredient of the dish. The tuna steak was lovely, and the veal could have done with a thinner breadcrumb batter. The sides, chips and zucchini, were £4.50 and very small portions for such a cheap side. So that was slightly disappointing. Overall, the pinot grigio white wine was very drinkable, and they brought tap water when we asked for it. And the whole staff were very polite. It was a shame the service was so slow, and the food could have been better for the price that it was. We also felt it was overpriced for the location it was, zone 2 London and not in the West End."
