"jangwa kalahari is an African restaurant located in caves. I had never eaten in this place, as much as I am very passionate about African cuisine. I've been a vegetarian for two years, so before I go there, I called to make sure there were vegetarian dishes. No problem, all right. I was with other friends, they ordered a stew of meat served with chickpea cream, a typical African dish. then cut meat and cheese with fries and not, all accompanied by 5 different creams, one more good than the other. I have a mix of mixed vegetables with spices and chili. great wine, very kind staff, cozy atmosphere and good prices! What do you expect? !"

kitchen with a refined and innovative goto! very kind staff. the local, well-kept in detail, is able to bring the person down in a typical atmosphere of the African continent but with the goto of the modern living room

Beyond my expectations. African dishes refined and really excellent for quality and flavors. It is perceived that behind each dish there is a study and a story.. I highly recommend trying the Ghinar and the Mafèl, excellent suggestions of the chef and his very beautiful mother. We will return as soon as possible

immersed in the heart of the pottery area, with a free public parking place a few steps away, is this fantastic local; very nice local and really coconut suitable for lunches and dinners with friends or in couple. honest prices, high quality dishes, excellent service, abundant portions and great sympathy and friendliness of the owner. this idea of fusion cuisine between africa and puglia is totally winning and deserves to be gotten.

entered an abnormal time (14.40), we were however welcomed and pampered. the environment is quite picturesque (very African) and the lights are low, but the menu is very varied and also includes African dishes as well as traditional Apulian ones. grilled meat are all processed by the young chef who is also attentive to intolerances (if warned). I took crispy and appetizing fried appetizers (only shrimp a little too fried). You've got to take care of the customers like you did with us!

"We were in Grottaglie for some ceramic shopping, but in Italy you need to eat too! This beautifully stocked shop has so many wonderful products, and interwoven into the shop itself is a restaurant which serves delicious, carefully prepared food lovingly served by the most helpful and charming Daniele and the rest of the family. While we were there, a family with small child, a lone older gentleman, and 2 men wearing biker jackets sat at adjoining tables for lunch. But first the wine. Daniele asked us what we liked, and he brought out 4 or 5 bottles of local Puglian wines, from which we chose the Vigna Castello of the famed Vallone estate, a mix of Negroamaro and Sussumaniello, well priced and absolutely terrific. The food came:: first, a large selection of Italian cured meats, featuring the rarely seen in US Coppocolla de Martina Franca, lardo, prosciuttos from Puglia and other regions, and then a equally copious platter of only young cheeses: several different sizes and shapes of mozzerella, a primo sale ricotto that was like a custard desert, and a smoked burrata which was so perfectly scented with a wisp of smoke that in no way overwhelmed the cheese itself. Anywhere else in the world, this would have been enough, but not in Italia! We both had a red wine and caciacavallo risotto which changed the way we thought about risotto. This experience over 2 hours was a delight in every way, and after that we just wanted to food shop. So we picked up some of the aforementioned Cappocolla de Martina Franca,, some very young ricotto, chocolates, spices, etc. and went on our way. Thanks Daniele and family, for the wonderful experience in this classy wine shop on the edge of town."
