"Ambiance: You come in and it smells like smoke. Overall, it 's rustic, but the color changing LED strip unfortunately makes the place look cheaper. The reservation computer is right at the top of the stairs the Chinese part ; downstairs is sushi on the conveyor belt of the restaurant, so the waiter is there often. This is a bit annoying when you 're sitting right next to them at the table. Eat: I had a dish from the shiitake menu and I thought it was delicious too. It was actually not at all a taste that I expected from a Chinese restaurant in Germany. But I thought it was good. My companion was also happy with her food. Service: It 's not clear to me at all. The waiter owner? really talks ! a lot. There 's a pun in every sentence that you can only laugh at unpleasantly. He just seems very pushy. When ordering a drink, you are informed about the amount of sugar cubes contained in a glass of cola, which immediately takes away your desire to treat yourself to the drink. The KiBa cherry juice in banana nectar was unfortunately reversed in the cherry to banana ratio, so that there was some banana nectar in the cherry juice. We then needed some time to decide on what to eat, as the menu was unfortunately very, very extensive. There are little jokes and hints everywhere, which make it difficult to find your way around an already large map. So I placed my order without any further problems my companion wasn 't so lucky. She wanted to try a tofu dish. When ordering, it was said that tofu dishes would only be prepared until Wednesdays because it is delivered once a week and doesn 't last that long. That 's not a problem either. My companion quickly decided on a duck dish, which was immediately commented that it wasn 't a crispy duck. Then she browsed a little further and decided on another duck dish. The comment was then made that this was a Western food. In the end she simply decided on fried noodles with duck. This was then recorded with the comment All right, the **** plate. It 's not at all clear to talk so badly about their orders to the guests. Take the order and leave. Every little interaction with the waiter was just unpleasant as you always had to listen to and cover up unnecessary chatter. You also hear the same jokes over and over again from the other guests. I was then able to reassure my companion and convince them to stay because we had been wanting to try the place for a while and hadn 't tried anything yet. After that, the meal took almost an hour while the place was about 40% full. So purely in terms of food, 4 5 stars. Still below average for the price. Fried noodles with duck for €15. You can get it at Manjing Haus in Darmstadt for €9, for example, and it tastes *even* better. The service drags down the rating here massively, no matter how good the food is, you just feel bad about being there. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €10–20 Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2"

aside from the ambiente, what you could still push on a taste thing: the sushi is really not good-pappier rice that tastes after nothing.

Asia offers Asian food and running sushi. The price-performance ratio is ok and the waiter likes to say a few anecdotes. Normally, you will get a place without reservation. View menu

One of the most funny restaurants operators. There are sushi from the band and Asian a la carte food. This is cooked by the boss personally in the kitchen and brought to the table by the daughter. It was a nice evening to come back. There were no problems with the Schlemmerblock.

Now this may be a bit biased but I'm a sushi buffet fanatic, and as we all know sushi buffet isn't going to be nearly as good as ordered sushi not to mention the fact that Germany is a landlocked country. I should stick to schnitzels and stuff. Anyway, this restaurant isn't bad at all. Aesthetically pleasing to the utmost, but the buffet left me with much to be desired. However all the ordered food is superb. View menu

I needed to be treated by a doctor after I ate Surimi there. My liver was swollen and hurt like hell. When I would have had more Money, I would have sued that restaurant for sure. Avoid it at any costs ! They are expensive and bad. I paid for a all you can eat menu there over 18 € and it was not worthy. The Surimi was from the fridge and defreezed for several times. They will never see me as their customer again !

Great restaurant with only two employees (German husband and Chinese wife . This is supposed to be Darmstadts oldest chinese restaurant and suprisingly, its cuisine is more authentic than any other chinese restaurants in Darmstadt. I liked the owner, even though u have to get used to his sense of humour and ironically, he speaks fluent chinese. The food was great, a lot of variety and everthing was home made like the huge spring roll (super yummy or the peanut sauce. The pork belly was really excellent and spicy. The interior is outdated, but who cares as long as the food is great. The only two cons are that first, my wife's glass of lychee juice was only half full considering the price (2.70...
