"we stayed last night I was in couple) for a degotation of local products and we found this small restaurant hidden in a corner. warm and welcoming environment. clean room, well prepared table, with a nice fireplace that warms the atmosphere. we took an appetizer, very abundant with meat and cheese from the valleys. accompanied by a basket of bread and homemade focaccia. excellent dish of ravioli with braised and wine glass. according to the hood. delicious and cooked at the right point. handmade cakes. the staff of the room and the managers of the very beautiful structure, of a high cultural profile, are well available to illustrate the area from both geographical, historical/social/cultural point of view. we met the chef gian maria, a very useful person to illustrate his preparations. barrier-free room with original and open elevator that accompanies guests towards toilets. price more than honest, calculating the location, quality of raw materials and the high professionalism of the chef and the entire staff. We'll be back"

a good snack. I would also like to thank the rapporteur for his work. I would lower the prices a little as it is a snack and not a lunch or dinner

Cute place under the ancient arcade of varzi. Nice staff. we took an aperitif: a glass of wine, a spritz and a saucepan of meats and cheeses. all good, sin the euro price there seemed a little ' so many since the sauce and cheese sauce was a little small for people and not well presented.

Found this place by accident--it's easy to miss hidden behind a wall... Very friendly staff, some speaking perfect English! Their signature dish is the cold platter with selection of cheeses and the justly famous Varzi salami. Make sure to get some rice cake (not sweet! with it, granny's recipe. View menu

"I was for the first time at the buscone Saturday evening 22 January with my wife, curious from the signal of the slow guide food osterie of Italy 2022 and from a friend who would like to go there. finding the place in the dark was not trivial, but I must say that the village of bosmenso is in itself a lovely and unexpected place, like the restaurant. possibility of menu degistation and à la carte menu (and already this is a point in favor, not always in fact you want to eat appetizer, 2 first, 2 seconds and sweet, although in the format of degotation is small portions.) good risotto with artichokes and saffron pistils (although I have to say that these pistills are practically colorless and I would say even little fragrant expectations perhaps a traditional yellow risotto would pay more. ) good and delicious braised ravioli, a classic of the cuisine of the Oltrepò, although perhaps I would have cooked them a few more minutes is not a spago to go to the tooth but here more ravioli. really excellent wet boar that dissolved in mouth and for nothing stump as often happens with wild boar, good ribs of caramelized pork, although not tender and unfortunately served with roasted potatoes that I thought were of the previous day. big barn sorbet. all watered by a great bonarda of the house, but if you want I am sure that there is a beautiful wine card and very suitable for the dishes proposed, the room is well maintained, clean and well managed, in short, an experience certainly to be repeated with friends, hoping that the owner and the sisters (as I read in a local guide) can arrange the few things out known. one last point: very honest account, in the average area with an excellent value for money."

"Avoiding the seen-it-all-before Italian food can be hard in this beautiful country. ..But not this time! La Fuga gracefully combines unmistakably fresh local ingredients with a smart and colourful approach to traditional food. Their dishes are not ornately presented but beautiful nevertheless. Rather than getting lost in complicated menus, we were fed a unknown number of dishes, simply based on the products that were available on that day (with the single choice of stating if vegetarian, vegan or otherwise). Portions were very generous, however, with a style of cooking free from butter or heavy dressings, we surprisingly ended up not feeling too full. We started with apparently innocuous but truly delicious miniature vegetable cakes, plus local cured meats and cheeses. The feather like veggie homemade ravioli, accompanied by a rocket pesto, were probably my favourite and yet more ravioli variations came and they were equally irresistible. My friends meat dishes were too memorable, I hear, with the fulsome flavours of locally farmed animals. Dessert, local liqueurs, biscuits, etc, all included in what was a perfectly affordable bill. Oh, and did I say that we had lunch under the outside pergolas and then relaxed on the deck chairs shaded by the trees (and with a beautiful countryside view)? Not least, the owner and the staff were a pleasure and a delight to deal with. Top marks all around, no doubt."
