"on Thursday we visited again the restaurant to the römer in bad dürkheim. we had done some good food again. the Roman was an excellent address for me. they are known for tasty, good eating. so also there. but from the first impression - the courtesy and friendliness - where did they stay? the dining room and outdoor area (tables and chairs) was not much visited. a small number of guests. in the room I've been inquired, let's sit outside. short and short, yes, what do you have in the offer. is standing outside on the screen. again short and short. we had starving, was lunchtime. after filling out the guest list (covid 19,) we stayed the menu. the offer was as always good. we decided for zander. as a drink, coffee and water medium. the zander was delicious. around well, as always. zander auf hirsebett, cuts and the cream sauce- delicious! the weather has played, sitting in the outside area, was pleasant. that, as always, good food, has made me feel a little more reconcilable. but unfortunately the friendliness, has the covid fallen for sacrifice? the restaurant is also suitable for disabled people. but toilets will look hot. a staircase must be managed in the cellar spaces. with wheelchair difficult. toilets are perfectly clean. even a wrap table for the smallest gast,is available. only a pity, the friendliness - even in these particulars it is possible. Despite all the zander was good!"

"So it is on the HP from the Hotel Restaurant Marktschänke [here link] to read. And it goes on: The market pots stand for grounded gastronomy and typical Palatinate hospitality as well as for Palatinate traditional cuisine with Mediterranean impact. I can only say: Hic Rhodus, hic salta! During the day before, on Friday, we had already approached the place to make us a picture of where exactly it is and what it looks like with the parking there. At the narrow market street, which leads to a small market place and at which the market bay is located, is not to think of parking at all and the market place would be clear to us at the local date, full on Saturday with market stands and market cars, which was then also the case. to place my car on a paid parking space just released. The parking ticket machine was well hidden and therefore not easy to find out, but I had literally opened it. As his display showed, he was out of operation, why always, and it was asked to make the parking disk visible in the parked vehicle. said, done and then went to the market for me in the pig gallop, where my long-term loved ones had now had sufficient opportunity to familiarize themselves with the menu and choose something; with her order she had waited for me. I had a short look into the map, then we waved the servicemen, a mid-thirsty. Mme. Simba ordered a bitter Lemon 0.2l EUR 2.60 for drinking and an onion roast for EUR 22,90 for food from day recommendations; an appetizer didn't want her. I landed once more in a drink at my Grauburgunder 0.25l EUR 6.90 at Bad Dürkheimer Winzergenossenschaft Four Seasons; as an appetizer I chose the Markklösschensuppe cattle force broth for EUR 4,90 and as the main dish six fried giant robes, with herbal baguette for EUR 13,90. The drinks came quickly, although in the guest room almost no more table was free; the waiting period until the dishes came was bearable. Unfortunately, my wife had some bad luck with her onion roast; Although the Gargrat medium rare was really well hit with a tendency to medium, the good piece was really tough in places and therefore remained unseed. From one piece of meat of moderate or poor quality can also be a good cook no tastes; in elevated restaurants they would have taken their court from the bill or offered to make it new. It is probably not common in pheasants; After all, as a small compensation, she was given an amarenabecher to the house, which would otherwise cost EUR 5,90. I was more satisfied with my choice; with the wine anyway, but also with the soup and with the shrimps. The awnings, which glichen in size and shape as an egg to the other, were clearly bought, but tasted good; the soup did so too, however, in comparison with the cattle broth enjoyed in the Dürkheimer Fass on the previous day, it was not possible to keep it so completely. The giant robes fried in their chitinpanzer were hit at the point; on the inside a little glazed, and on the whole a lot of knofilastic, which is no harm to me. The roasted baguette slices were cut too thick for me; a bite was not possible, breaking down. I would have liked to have made a better assessment for the food sector; the bad rust roast meat prevents this and so I do not get beyond two and a half stars even when looking at it. Conclusion: In principle, we liked it well in the marketplace; However, if we had chosen to decide between the Dürkheimer Fass and the Marktschänke, the barrel clearly went out as winner. P.S. Barrierfreihei is unfortunately not given here; Apart from the stairs in the entrance area, there are unfortunately also the thirteen-stage stairs that lead from the guest room to the toilets in the basement."
