"Already our second visit after last year we were there the first time in the summer. We had the complete menu including the two Surprise dishes and the wine tasting. All dishes fell, climaxes for me were the disturbance with the gorgeous butternut, the asparagus dish and the excellent dessert (Dinkel mit Estragon . Super bread. Wine tasting excellent and not overpriced. Service very attentive. Personally, I would like you to show your dishes a little more active and self-confident, and I think you have every reason to do so. In my opinion you can star and that you should also represent. And as it has been written down below, everyone is happy about a small extra slip."

The surprise on the Goldsteig, a cook that celebrates joy with the best ingredients. More random, because the hotel was on the Goldsteig hike for overnight stays, we went to the restaurant Essen. Service and advice were also excellent. The selection of wine was simple despite the wide selection of advice. Beautiful dishes and pure taste. The menu is complemented daily by a changing menu. Everything is in organic quality. The in-house bread is a secret tip. Prices were underestimated for the required performance. Clear recommendation!

Ein Zauberer der Aromen! Jeder Gang aus regionalen Produkten in höchster Qualität aus denen Herr Kuhlmann uns seine außergewöhnlich kreativen und harmonisch zusammengesetzten Gerichte auftischt. Die Weinbegleitung war hervorragend auf die einzelnen Kreationen abgestimmt mit sorgfältig ausgewählten Weinen, die nicht in jedem Weinkatalog zu finden sind. Wir freuen uns schon darauf bald wieder ihre Gäste sein zu dürfen! Ein absolutes Highlight in der Oberpfalz! P.S.:Ich könnte mir auch vorstellen, dass ein Vegetarier sehr glücklich das Restaurant verlässt.
