"We discovered this place while walking in the area and decided to enter to try some sweets. There were three ladies there, one wiping the floor and the other two going back and forth towards the back of the shop. We were ignored for a few minutes until finally one of them asked what we wanted. We selected a few different types of baklava, which the lady grabbed with her hand and put in the box. No gloves, nothing! Bare hands! With the same hands she went to the cashier machine … we paid, we left and the baklava went directly in the next trash can on the street. Terrible and disgusting."

this place is both a bakery and a restaurant. they serve North African food that is delicious. unfortunately, due to the lack of personal, ready to wait. also they do not serve alcoholic drinks.

This patisserie is said to be one of the best places for pastries in Paris. We bought some pastries here, which seemed stale. This was not what we had expected. Look for more reviews by MulleEllum.

Beautiful and colourful sweets perfect for people who can't eat lactose. Also suitable for vegans. In a city like Paris it's marvellous to find desserts without butter, homemade and so delicious! Specially love an almond sweet with the shape of a strawberry, just amazing!

They serve the delicious pastry from La Bague de Kenza in most of the Moroccan Restaurants in Paris. It 's the best oriental/nort-african pastry i ever had. This shop in Rue Saint Maur is the main shop. The cookies are quite expensive, but it ' 's a lot of work and you can keep them for quite a long time in the fridge. Have been looking for a good pastry cooking course in France or Morocco ever since i ate the Kenza-cookies for the first time but haven 't found anything decent online yet. View menu

The mounds of colorful treats stopped us in our tracks oohing and even beckoned us inside and then to drop 20 euros each for a small box, but buyer beware our lesson was learned you should have a single item to taste, and should you like it, then add to your take a way box. Instead, we took away two boxes of disappointing and expensive almond everything. Either it tasted the same bland and boring almond flour (and I love almond) or just terrible. The baklava was a huge disappointment even though we tried a couple of kinds.

In the likelihood of tiring of French pastries, although not plausible, stop by this patissiere specialising in Algerian confectionary delights to rekindle the relationship with the delicate morsels piled high like a candy store of old. Made primarily with nuts, dates, figs, honey or pistachio, the offerings are all YUMMY. Upon entry, the first nasal note is rose water followed by orange blossom, vanilla and other heavenly essences. You know the drill... greeting, point at any gem... it matters little for they are all treasures.... all mouth watering inducements
