"We were in a small group at dinner in the restaurant. Both the owner and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The waiting times were reasonable. "Last times we were well served for the first round, after which unfortunately no one came to pick up more orders for drinking or dessert. To get numbers, we already have about two times. We have to wait 1 hour, and waiters have to appeal to them several times. When we were there with 13 people one day and ordered appetizers, main dish and dessert, we didn't get a Uozo. The place should be quickly empty.In the meantime we are really disappointed and do not come back.When you go with the Essen family, this is an event and you pay good money for it. "het eten was matig en de bediening werd, met all respect, door een zwakbegaafde dame gedaan. deze dame was onbeleefd maar ook onverstaanbaar. ik kon daar niet met een kaart (mastercard of maestro) betalen en werd daarna real raar treating. moest maar al mijn cash geld op tafel leggen en een schuldbrief onderteken (van 10 euro,.) he was geen pinautomaat in de buurt. het what he looks leeg en snap nu waarom. dit heb ik real nog nooit beleefd. lijkt wel een film"

"Urgemütliches Traditionslokal mit hervorragender bayrischer (und teils österreichischer) Küche. Die Gerichte sind sehr lecker und die Portionen ordentlich. Alles stets frisch zubereitet und das Fleisch von hoher Qualität. Die Bedienung ist äußerst freundlich und nett. Bei schönem Wetter bietet sich der Biergarten wunderbar zum verweilen an. Wenn wir in Schrobenhausen sind, dann ist ein Abend im Schimmelwirt mit Leberknödelsuppe, Schweinebraten mit Knödel (oder Kalbsschnitzel mit hauseigenem Kartoffelsalat und zum Nachtisch gebackene Apfelringe mit Vanilleeis) für uns ein Muss."
