"A well appointed trattoria just on the hill outside Castellamonte (TO). There is no menu but there is a lot of food. The antipasti alone is enough for a meal, but no there was a choice of primi and secondi which the waitress will recite to you oh and also a choice of desserts as well as a very generous cheese tray and of course coffee with grappa if you wish. The menu changes every day. The meatballs served as one of the many antipasti were as tasty and light as any I've had. You can always ask for more of anything. I recommend you arrive with a hearty appetite. The staff was very congenial and the proprietor even gave us a bottle of local white wine after we had paid. Why? I don't know, maybe she liked a couple of friendly appreciative Americans. The fixed price of this feast was only 25 euros which included a liter of house white wine."

"We went twice. Once for the menu food, once for pizza. Stay with the pizza, they are great: great bread, good toppings. Maybe the plate could have been preheated to keep the pizza warm. Other food bit disappointing: weird mushy tempura, tofu meatballs that we found also in the local supermarket Crea, slow cooked rabbit was soft but lacked taste. Stay with pizza and you will have great meal."

"Business dinner: feel about a month before the presence of a vegetarian commensale (I). The other commens had 3 and I said 3 appetizers and I had spinach. First, a risotto and tagliatelle, okay. Second dish for others: two courses, while for me comes only the cream of peppers that was the contour of one of the dishes and tell me: The second one's coming, huh? Well, I'm still waiting. From such a restaurant that is really unskilled considering that my part was also paid as the remaining guests. Question: Can you really say that you can cook and know how to welcome if then in 2022 you can not endure 3 cooking courses and enhance the products of your land?? (based on Mediterranean cuisine and diet). Judge!"

"Locale simpatico sul rustico. Menù non particolarmente ricco,ma cibo cucinato ottimamente. Posso fare una critica,che vuole essere costruttiva? Alcuni piatti abbondanti altri decisamente scarsi..uniformarsi,ovviamente verso l'abbondanza? Dimenticavo: proprietaria decisamente gentile ,anzi di più: deliziosa. Merita una visita magari dopo la visita del bellissimo Castello."

"We went to this restaurant with the fork at 50% and I must say it was a great discovery!! The appetizers, especially my i.e. the tomini triptych, were really good.. No sin, just compliments! As first and second we made a mix because we wanted to taste a bit of everything, great idea to put little salt and add it to taste in case you want (it is not a forgetfulness but a choice) , I did not add it anywhere but my mother yes for example. My gnocchi at the cutting and porri were really delicate, very good; the cut with the Parmesan cream was also this very good but, here is a small but, sin for the blood that came out and mixed with the cream; the asado a curious and good discovery. About sweet... Two baked creams, with jam made by you, really good!! You were really nice and kind to make us taste the basil cream... Very good and refreshing! Next time we will make a little thought for sure! Ultimately... A very nice restaurant, particular and appreciated the presence of the pots with the various plants. Friendly and very detailed service. The use of selected ingredients, studied, fresh and your passion felt at every fork... We will definitely come back!!"
