"We went to Ile d'Oleron and stopped in St Pierre for lunch After walking around past a lot of tourist type restaurants we found this little place behind the market What a gem Staff were friendly and helpful and we had the menu du jour 3 courses for 16€ good portion size tasty and well presented Amazing starter rillettes of canard or rillettes of seafood Main was panmentier of lamb (basically shepherds pie with shredded lamb rather than mince) it was delicious Desert was either Charentais cheesecake or Vendee flan both were superb We were amazed that such a small place could supply such wonderful food given there was a party of 14 in eating as well Good quality fresh ingredients makes for good meals a place to revisit when we are back in the area"

super resto, ideal after having turned to the covered market. We've really eaten great. kitchen that changes a little, there's a lot of taste for it. waitress at the top of the bottle with knots, instead of pichetes, we pay what we drink

Simply great stuff, good waiters and great food. The staff was very helpfull and the food delicious. Deserts to die for! Everything fresh and home made. Ample of choice for vegetarians. Drinks very good. No suggestions and or reccomendations. Just a must visit!
