"We had a great meal here. We were craving a steak, and came here on our Air BnB host's recommendation (our flat was only a few blocks away). We were so glad we did. We had a perfectly grilled Angus beef steak and yummy roasted...potatoes. The service was also great. Also, the price seemed very reasonable for the quality. However, if you are looking for a cool alternative, happenin' space--this would NOT be it. The dinning room is very large and has NO character. Most of the other diners were local families with small children--at least they were better behaved that the one's in the U.S. In fact, we heard NO whining or drama."

Having chosen our fresh meat to be cooked especially for us, we realised that we had been sold far too much for persons. Otherwise the ambiance, the food, and the experience were good. Quite expensive for this type of Restaurant

I went under the advice of a friend, the place is really nice and cozy, friendly and friendly staff. We got some mixed meat, potatoes and wine, it was really super good. honest prices. I'll be back as soon as possible. super recommended

This is a place for diehard meat eaters-vegetarians beware. But the quality is good, meat is fresh. You choose what you like, get it weighed and the grilled meat comes to your table-there are many condiments of course. Wine is quaffable-but focus is on meat....The salad is reasonably good but focus is on meat. You get the gist, I am sure. View menu

OMG where to start you think you are in a butchers then you realise you pick your meat from a vast array of bombette, stracelli, steaks of any size and type and an amazing variety of sausages there was also chicken available. Bombette...are thin slices of beef wrapped around various different stuffings for example, asparagus, pesto, ham and cheese, aubergine and lots more! The sides included baked potato and side salads. for two with a litre of wine and two lemonchellos fantastic value and an amazing local experience!

by polignano, we felt sad to lose contact with our excellent macelleria, which we really thought to be unbeatable in terms of quality and price, so it was great to try out la locanda del macellaio. the restaurant is located outside the tourist opposite of Ostuni., this restaurant offers a simple offer that focuses on high quality meat. the accompanying salads and kartoffels were also great, so all these plus very friendly service was a great start for us. we expect many future visits. the only sadness from our view was that the restaurant was quite empty something I felt safe was due to the heavy Covid measures at that time.
