"The menu is focused on meat, even if there are other options; some of the best steaks are visible aging in the open fridge display. We had tartare (well presented and very rich) and a sort of bruschetta as starters; then we order an italian steak: delicious and perfectly cooked; the kind of meat that you must not ruin with any sauce: just a little salt and pepper. The steak came with some incredible fried potatoes: thick round slices crunchy outside and creamy inside. Perfect. We had wine, but this place is famous for the extensive craft beer list... many on tap. We definitely want to go back and try something else, this time drinking beer. As said in the title, the setting is very modest, but in a good way; cozy and relaxed. One little negative detail: on the menu, near the traditional food list, there is a dedicated area for the steaks; but this is just a list of countries from where the meat is coming from: Italy, Scotland, Ireland, Uruguay....without any description useful to choose (if you are not an expert) ... tenderness, flavor, texture... something meaningful like sometimes you see on the wine list. And the waiter wasn't helpful as well. It's a little frustrating having so many options without guidance. The price is very good, because you pay only for the meat, not for some fancy tablecloths and silverware."

We ate our meal so quickly we forgot to take pictures! We ordered the Argentinian filet (medium rare) with a side of mixed greens and grilled vegetables. There wasn’t a morsel left! Being accompanied by Italian beers in a very unpretentious setting made the meal perfect! We were expecting to use a translator on our phones, but were very pleasantly waited on by

We came back for the good meat we got last time; I asked for a Fiorentina (T-bone streak) and pointed it on the display. When I asked few minutes later to bring it at the table not yet sliced (I prefer to slice it myself and this way stays warmer) the waiter/owner for three times tried to refuse suggesting that was better to have it already sliced. Then I understood why: they served us a simple steak-in rib eye, without the filet part. It was good, but not what we ordered. And the price was 81 euro. Bad experience
