"La Piezzetta is a super nice restaurant located in the center of Pienza. We were welcomed by one of the waiters and were given a nice table in the terrazza. We arrived earlier for an aperitivo and ordered 2 spritz that were served with cheese, melon and prosciutto. For dinner we chose the gnocchi and the sirloin steak. The gnocchi was okay (not memorable) but the sirloin steak was really good. For dessert we shared the torta della nona that was recommended by our waiter and that we would recommend! We would definitely come again to La Piazzetta and recommend it to other people visiting Pienza."

Excellent lunch paired with some amazing wines. Staff spoke English which always helps. Food was fresh and tasty. I would recommend this place and would come back next time I’m in Pienza.

The service and the food were disappointing. The place was almost empty. There were 1 servers, and I'm not sure there's much help in the kitchen. It seemed like a man. Beautiful environment, but no one to cook and serve the food!

Some staff were more friendly than others. It was busy with big groups dining, so the staff had a lot to do. Even so, some made a special effort to make sure we were well looked after. Pasta dishes were great, good wine selection

The restaurant was hit or miss. The bean soup was very good. The ravioli were dry and not very full and the sauce was watery. The bistecca was tough and chewy but tasty with the peppercorns . The tiramisu was very good. The waiter could have been more attentive. The price was very good with the fork discount.
