"I dined here with family friends for Christmas Day dinner. The menu consisted of a special menu for the Christmas holiday and the regular menu. The Xmas menu consisted of soup, salad, main dish and dessert plate starting around €26. Two in our party ordered the steak with mushroom sauce, which they enjoyed, my friend ordered the duck with crispy skin and these dishes from the Xmas special menu were served with veggies or a potato side. I ordered the steak with pepper sauce (18CHF) off the regular menu which came with potato croquettes and a salad. My steak was very tender and had very good taste. The atmosphere was nice as the entire restaurant was decorated for the Xmas holiday season. The service was good, but slightly over-worked due to the constant and full restaurant guests. There is also a small banquet room and a larger more open air dining experience room. Overall, the meals with beverages costs roughly €100 and it was a good choice. I have previously eaten at this restaurant a few time before and I would recommend for lunch or dinner. A popular place for the more mature locals and entire families. There is a large outside patio seating area in good weather and the staff is friendly. The restrooms were generally clean."

"right behind the old seckenheimer rathaus the gast finds the hotel and boardinghaus weingärtner. because the house has few rooms, the hotel is often fully booked. which stands in front of the house is initially overwhelmed: the workshop of 1773 has a very high, steep dach. after my knowledge, it is a former taboo scrub that has been extended to the hotel. in front of the house is a beer garden where they can sit comfortably and enjoy the sun (or want to shadow). the rooms themselves are very large, most even have a cooking option in the form of a dining kitchen, even the bathrooms are beautifully large. in the ground floor are two rooms next to the reception, there is the breakfast in the morning. this has the usual hotel standard on the first look, the second look then reveals the self-made jams and the fresh obstsalat, which consists not only of coarsely carved apples with some grapes and watermelons, but the seasonal top offer contains fine cut and is filled again. the tee is thoroughly brewed. if the guest wishes, the breakfast can also be taken in the beer garden, the friendly staff brings the necessary and desired. the hotel does not own its own pakrplatz, the parking situation around the old rathaus is not intoxicating, so they need to look for a little, but in the rule they find a parking space close to."

"We decided spontaneously last night to order something to eat. Although the kitchen has just been cleaned, the team made it possible and prepared our order for 4 people. Super service and mega friendly. To eat it is to say: delicious! German cuisine without finished sauces. We had oxenbäckchen (very soft and tasteful) with roast and leaf spinach, cheese spet with salad dressing as well as muzzles with melted onions and salad. We were all completely satisfied and definitely come back. Simply great last night we spontaneously decided to order something to eat. Although the kitchen was in the process of being cleaned, the team made it possible and prepared our order for 4 people. Great service and super friendly. The food is to say: delicious! German cuisine without ready-made sauces. We had ox cheeks (very soft and tasty) with hash browns and leaf spinach, cheese spaetzle side salad and dumplings with melted onions and salad. We were all completely satisfied and will definitely be back."

"I am traveling to Thailand A LOT and Thai food is the culinary love of my life. Having been disappointed many times by Thai restaurants in the Rhein-Neckar region I was pleasantly surprised by this place. Truth be told - this still isn't the real thing but it is very close. The owners wife is Thai and so there is a lot of authenticity around their food. When I say "close" the difference lies in the raw materials - specifically the amounts used. Example would be a Tom Yum Gung - in Thailand you would have a good handful of herbs and spices that aren't edible but solely there to make the flavor. Here at Ambiente they use the same materials but much less of it. I understand this is due to the high price and because their dishes would become much more expensive if they did it the authentic way. Thus I am rating the place high because they are as close as it can get in Germany."
