"It's a bit by chance that we discovered this restaurant ... and discovered the formula of this unique menu. the place is really nice, shaded as you need. the village of Mourèze is also to be seen!. The welcome is excellent, and even without having booked, we got a table. The menu of the day was rather vegetables than carnivore (there is a card tartare for carnivores), but excellent! the kitchen is quite fine, the presentation of the plates is relatively elaborate and the "quantity in the plate is sufficient. An address to be known.I still insist on the pleasant welcome that was offered ... I don’t know what paradise looks like, but I hope that the welcome is the same as in Mourez! The addition is not exaggerated. Thanks to them!"

Worst service and management I ever ever had with inadequate pricing! Stay away. There is much better places right next to it.

Idyllic place on the rocks. Walking shoes or slippers are fine when you appreciate the cookkin. Aubergine soup with a bunch of ice cream from local cheese or smoked fish with coins of core fig and beet etc, tasty local wine with care or alcoholic drinks, all for a very good one. A library worth!

close good original cuisine around a unique menu based on fresh products. For example today for the entrance there was a velvety of tomato and melon accompanied by a raspberry sorbet. I was sceptical, I'm reviewing my copy, it was more than excellent. The dish was very good as well as the dessert, not forgetting the warm welcome of the team.

We went there with family and friends. We had a good surprise with the succulent and original hors d'oeuvre. for the main dish we took a beef tartare of aubrac, well served with coconut rice and a peanut sauce. for the day dish we have been offered meatballs with fries to the squash (original and tasteful). Finally the surprise dessert has ended up conquering us. Certainly a restaurant that should not be missed under any pretext that combines the good cuisine with the good mood of the waitress and the originality of the dishes.

"What a gem ! If you are travelling in the Languedoc this summer, near to the Lac de Salagou, Clermont L'Herault or the mythical Cirque de Moureze, the restaurant Chez Eva at Moureze is a real gem.First, its location : adjacent to the celebrated Cirque de Moureze, it is a very very convenient stop-off point for geologists, geographers, anthropologists or simply walkers, ramblers, or tourists, for a beer, a coffee, lunch or dinner.Second, its site : in the medieval village of Moureze, it is situated on the principal road through this quiet, small but picturesque village. The restaurant is primarily outside in the garden in a haven of greenery, complemented by a patchwork of pebbles and stonework. Shaded from the blue sky of Provence by some large trees, there are a multitude of pastel coloured parasols to provide further added protection and the slight difference in levels provides a further intimate attraction (not inconvenient - see below wheelchairs).I passed by twice, once for lunch and once for dinner. The teams offering service had changed for the evening but both were welcoming, friendly, polite and professional. Eva offers both a 3-course fixed menu (with 2 choices) at 18 euros, an a la carte menu including vegetarian. I chose the a la carte menu on both occasions sampling for lunch the "seiches a la plancha" (17 euros) (squid done in a butter garlic sauce) accompanied by a cassolette of moules, sorry mussels, aioli and a side salad, washed down by 2 beers. With a small tip included, I left 25 euros. In the evening I again opted for an "a la carte fish" ( steaks, duck and salads along with pizzas are also available ) choosing the "gambas persillees au whisky" (gambas in parsley flambeed in whisky ) accompanied by rice and a creamy mayonnaise and a side salad. This time I quenched my thirst with a half litre of rose ( I can recommend Les Roses Domaine Farrieres at 12 euros ). However most of Eva's wine selection comes from the local vineyards and are normally of good quality, on average at 17 euros a bottle ( these are not Parisian prices !) or there are high quality wines en carafe at 12 euros a litre. I left 35 euros ( gambas at 20 euros, my wine at 12 euros and a small tip). All in all this was very very good value for money !I was not tempted by the starters nor the desserts (eg creme brulee, crumble, death by chocolate) but there is a wide choice of both.If you are lucky, Eva, the owner / hostess will prise herself away from the kitchen at the end of the evening and you will be entranced by her warm, magical and welcoming smile along with her English !This is a real gem. What's more not only are the location, site, welcome, service and food very good but toilets can often make or break a place. These are very bright, very clean and if required a discreet baby's nappy-changing area is available. The ultimate is that Eva has installed a Dyson Blade Hand-dryer. That is a recommendation in itself for any toilets in a French restaurant !Wheelchairs represent no problem as was demonstrated last night ... and should the blue sky of Provence give way at short notice to the summer storm there is suitable undercover accommodation.Try it ! A real gem ! C'est genial !Mike, Wales"
