I've had much better paella. The rice was al dente and not cooked all the way.

Food was like an ethereal delicacies! Beautiful, happy and very friendly staff.

I'm often past this restaurant, and it's a hidden gem. Seems like the typical tourist expensive place because of its location in front of the cathedral, but do not miss. Rices are beautiful, and the 13EUR daily menu will surprise you. Quantities are not too large, not too small, just perfect. I ordered spaghetti with mushrooms and roasted pork ribs. So soft bones came out without almost touching them. The staff is correct, experienced and attentive. I would suggest you come to lunch instead of eating very nicely.

We came to breakfast twice as the tortilla was very good and they served Nespresso coffee one of my favorites, we also had freshly squeezed orange juice it is also incredibly cheap only 6 euros for 2 tortilla, 2 fresh orange juice and an Americano coffee. Last night we came to dinner and we both flew grilled chicken, but it wasn't on the menu, but they did it for us anyway, that was a nice touch. This café restaurant has a direct view of the entrance to the cathedral from its terrace, they have also built an indoor restaurant on the terrace for I think cooler nights. Service was very good.

The specialty is rice and I did not order rice, so I will have this upfront to give some context to my review. I went for dinner, looking for something light. I ordered croquetas de jamon, morcilla de burgos and a salad. The quality of the food was not as good as other places in Burgos and not a match for the price. The service was good. The cleanliness and style of the restaurant felt great. A nice place to have a relaxed dinner. Not a bad place at all, but I cannot give it more than 3 stars given the unique culinary experiences one can enjoy in nearby places. I would need to go back and try their rice in the future. I would not be surprised if their rice makes this a 4 or even 5 star place...

Tourist trap with terrible food and rude staff. We speak fluent Spanish so walked in to an empty venue and asked if the waiter had seating for 3. The waiter said yes and promptly sat me. I helped my elderly mother get her seat and another waiter came and asked if we had a reservation. I said no, but that the other waiter seated us. This set off a chain of events, the staff continued to argue among themselves about seating us. The service was ridiculously slow and they ignored us as the instead took time to re-arrange furniture and speak with other people about taking reservations. After 10 minutes (I timed it) they came back with menus. They were curt and unhelpful. Totally uninterested in s...
