"We devoured the Toulouse Sausage cassoulet bathed in beautiful juices and lentils. OK, the dish is on the small size but we were satisfied at lunchtime having filled up on the accompanying complimentary fresh baguette and topping up with the bargain desert £3 of Pain Perdu translated as Lost bread . We also tried the Signature Gascon Duck burger which you couldn’t fault – moist shredded duck, sandwiched between a toasted brioche bun yes it could have been bigger but it was only £5! Why can’t there be more places like this in London?"

Went here for dinner not for the first time. It is consistently good food, interesting wine all presented with good cheer by helpful staff. One of the best restaurants in the area.

The bar service at this restaurant is awful and the atmosphere is also extremely unpleasant. It was so dark and depressing that we decided to leave after just one glass of wine, even though we had intended to stay for food. Despite it being a Friday night after work, there were only six people in the bar, whereas the bar next door had around 200 patrons. There is clearly something seriously wrong with the way this bar is being run.
